Love this venue. It brings me into a great part of the city to see new and interesting pieces like the recent world premier of Marley, a musical of the man's life. In this small and intimate setting, you are part of the show. And,...More

It was like a school play! I find it difficult to recommend this to anyone. As an education the depiction is poor and the performances not convincing. I have seen many musicals but few have let me down like this. When I go to the...More

My 4th production at this intimate theater, I drive from Philadelphia and have never been disappointed! The music, story, cast and direction were all first-rate! From the moment you walk in the door, you are in Jamaica! With reggae musicians and dancers playing in the...More

Terrible. If a play is to be written about Bob Marley this is not it. Was it a play with music or a musical? Neither me nor my friends could understand. We should have gone to the movies as planned.

Centerstage in Baltimore is the home of the world premiere of Marley, which will be in production here until June 14. I am sure the New York producers are already salivating about how soon they can get this to a Broadway or off-Broadway theatre. It...More

Coworkers and I went to see "It's A Wonderful Life" and thoroughly enjoyed the adaptation. After the first 15 minutes we were completely absorbed in the play and barely noticed the character changes. (A small cast of 5 plus a "sound man") The actors were...More

I have been involved with Center Stage for twenty years, but very involved and seeing each show at least twice, for the last ten years. The acting is always superb! Staff is appreciative and friendly, often providing insight on the show, to the audience. There...More

We have been to Center Stage several times now and have thoroughly enjoyed every show. There are no bad seats in the house. Last night we saw "It's a Wonderful Life, radio version" and loved it. They made it unique to Baltimore, by setting it...More

Wonderful play with beautiful voices and a great set. We sat in the last row of the orchestra, and the sight lines were good except that the woman in front of us had a high hairdo, and it was difficult to see over her.
