April is the best time to go to see the tulips! They are simply stunning. It is a nice park, but the tulips make it.

We went to Sherwood Gardens last April 19 and most of the tulips are in bloom, so beautiful. It’s also relaxing as it was not crowded that day.

It's springtime. Even though the weather does not feel like it. We found a community garden located not far from John Hopkins university in Baltimore, Md., that is a perfect hideaway from city life. There is a major open air green space with thousands if...More

The daffodils, tulips, and azaleas make a wonderful springtime show, but the whole expanse of lawn and garden is delightful throughout the warm season.

Sherwood Gardens Still in Bloom on 5/22? (4 Replies)
I was thinking about stopping at the Sherwood Gardens on Wednesday and as I have never been and not sure what is there, i wanted to ask if the flowers or plants are still bloom. Thanks.

It's beautiful but I believe you are a bit late for this year. The tulip bulb dig is scheduled for Saturday, May 25 so I assume they are finished blooming

I'm thinking of proposing to my girlfriend while staying in Baltimore for a day. How is Sherwood Gardens at this time of the year? I've never been there and don't know if it would be a good spot to do this. I am looking for some place quiet, private, and pretty. I know the tulips aren't in bloom anymore, but was wondering if the gardens are still worthwhile. Thanks in advance.
