We booked a Charm City Food Tour while visiting Baltimore for work. Jules was an awesome guide! She took us to some of the best spots in the Mt Vernon neighborhood and shared so much history and information along the way. We really appreciated an opportunity to explore and learn more about the city of Baltimore during our short visit. The food was wonderful and the Italian was my personal favorite. So good! Highly recommend this tour and thanks so much for everything Jules!

Our family recently went on the Charm City Food tour of Jonestown & Little Italy. It was a cold windy day, but Molly our guide paced the tour just right. The restaurants we visited were friendly and provided plenty of food. I found the Charm City tour people very considerate to deal with, as I had to cancel the original tour and reschedule. They could not have been more co-operative or helpful. Try it, you certainly won't leave hungry.

My friends and I took the 3.5 hour food tour in Fells Points today and it was amazing! Mary Margaret was our tour guide and she was just delightful — not to mention so knowledgeable about the Fells Point neighborhood. The 3 hours just flew by and we so enjoyed the tour. Mary Margaret told us all about the history of Fells Point and the 4 restaurants she took us to had superb food. I highly recommend this tour and I promise you will enjoy yourself immensely.

I still don't know why the reviews were so good for this experience. My boyfriend (he's 77 and I'm 65) did the Fells Point Tour on February 15th. It was FREEZING outside and the event should have been cancelled but it wasn't and they don't offer refunds, so we were determined to go. We thought there would be some wine pairings - there were none. I paid $3 for a cup of Swiss Miss hot chocolate. Other than fountain soda in a small styrofoam cup at Andy's, water was the only beverage - you didn't have to pay for. The food was nothing special. The beef at Andy's was too tough to chew and I had to remove it from my mouth and toss it out and the fries came late. A quarter size meatball, 3 small perioges, one tiny crabcake sandwich on a (very) hard roll (couldn't eat the roll), one shrimp pot sticker. fried potatoes with cheese, apples with a sprinkling of cheese, and a small fried PB&J sandwich. That's it, folks! Oh! A small Kaluha drink with the PB&J. For $120/couple and we gave a generous tip because Nora was fun and that's just who we are. We will not do this tour again. It's simply way too much money for the value.

3 inches of rain in less than 4 hours , and the company refused to cancel the tour or allow us to reschedule/give us a refund! Even our tour guide was calling the office and asking to cancel, but "the office" wouldn't do it. We WADED through streets in the pouring rain, and puddles that were well above my shoe tops. Heard less than one third of the guide's talk, even though he was shouting - the pouring rain, the traffic, the wind made it impossible to hear what he said. It might have been tolerable had the food been good but, even if the weather had been dry, I can tell you that this was one of the worst food tours I have been on. The pierogis were cold and chewy, the "Tiger sauce" on the pit beef sandwich was neither mayo or horseradish ( basically it was tasteless), the venue for the crab cake tasting was a bar where the music was so loud that you could not hear the person sitting next to you, much less the guide who was once again shouting to be heard ( and the crab cakes were nothing special). My husband and I use food tours to learn about local cuisine and good restaurants. And for the first time in all the tours we have taken, I can safely say that none of these restaurants will be on our "must do again " list. Our guide was witty and informative, but he was fighting impossible odds - I would never blame Timmy for the bad choices the company made.

Mary Margaret was very good. She knew the area and took us to several places to sample local places. The food was good and more than we thought we would get.

Mary Margaret is an excellent tour guide! She knew so much about the culture, history and quirks of the city. We had plenty of time to explore in between bites so we didn't feel too full every time we sat down. The tour was only us and one other family, so it was intimate and personalized and we got to make some new friends! We did the Fell's point tour this time, but we have business back in the area next month so we're looking to do another one!

My husband and I took this food tour as part of our mini honeymoon. We did not really know what to expect, but Suzanne, our tour guide, was great! She explained up front that we would visit 4 different restaurants and she would also be giving us some history of Fells Point along the way. At each restaurant, we sat down with our group and were given a decided upon sampling of their menu. This was seafood heavy, so if you are not into seafood, this may not be the best for you! The portions were pretty large for a food tour, so we definitely felt like we got our money's worth out of the tour. The group was very large, there were 14 of us, but it never felt like we were not heard or were lost in the tour. We want to go back and do it again!

The girlfriend and I took the Fells Point tour this past weekend. Overall it was a great experience, it was super crowded down by the water because of some pirate festival going on but after the first stop we moved more inland where things were much calmer. It was cool to walk around Fells Point to take in some of the local history and food. Don't worry about not having enough food, there is plenty to go around. Suzanne was a great tour guide, it was a great way to spend an afternoon!

My husband and I went on the Fells Point Food Tour with Suzanne and had a wonderful time! In addition to the delicious foods we sampled, we learned more about the history of Fells Point. As new Maryland residents, it's always exciting to hear about our new state's history. We stopped at 4 places and it was about 3 hours long. The walk is very leisurely. Definitely be prepared to eat a lot of good food!
