There is a place for them to explore all the things they want to explore in our day to day lives including a real life grocery store that they can be a shopper or cashier, diner that they can take orders, make the food and serve (all fake food so no... My friend and I took our two daughters, ages 5 and 10, to the PDCM, as I had been there once before with my daughter and she expressed interest in going with another child this time. It was much more fun for her that way, despite their age difference! The climbing structure in the middle of the building is top-notch... More

I've gotten the family annual pass as part of the rotation since my son was about 2 until last year when he was 12. He's always had fun, we've taken family and friends with us and they always enjoy it. He's only outgrown it this year and will only go if I drag him with the pre-schoolers. I am glad... More

We went on a Monday that was specially slated to not have groups on that day. The place was pleasantly not packed. We were able to see everything in a few hours. I was a little concerned by the large climbing structure in the middle, especially when I discovered you could get off on separate floors...yikes! My 6 year old... More

This is a great place for parents to park it and let the kids run around. Four floors of activity plus the center climbing tower will keep them occupied for hours.

Went last year with two oldest grandchildren and took there younger siblings along this time and they all had fun. From a ten year old to a two year old all four had a great time and that's all that matters . They loved the climbing thing as you first walked in as well as everything else although one thing... I took my sons (age 12 and 4) here on a day off from baseball at Cal Ripken. It was my 4 year olds choice. We all enjoyed it. There were a few groups there at the same time, but I never felt crowded or overwhelmed. The exhibits are broken up in to distinct and separate areas which I found... More

The Tiny Diner in Port Discovery was well thought out as it offered the children a real-life setup of a typical diner from menus, order taking, to creating meals, washing dishes and food preparation. There was even a check-out counter and aprons provided with food that looked & felt real! My 3 year-old nephew, 9 year-old niece and 8 year... More

More of a play zone than a museum as lots of climbing walls and climbing frames and slides which was just what was needed yesterday . Great information explained in a child friendly way , explains about farming , dairy, a mystery hunt and the Egyption area , all were a huge hit with my 8 yr old. Extra area... More

I would go here over the Aquarium. The kids liked it more in my opinion and it's not nearly as crowded. 2 pieces of advice - have the wear old clothes (painting and water) and stay close they can get lost quickly.
