Really good trip for our boys, ages 4, 6, and 7. They were able to go off and explore on their own. There were exhibits for each age range from baby to about 10. I would suggest waiting until they are already 4 though to come, otherwise they won't be able to experience everything. Great for birthday parties also. We... More

Super crowded in my visit, not very interesting, not very clean, I would skip this one - particularly in the city with the fabulous science museum. this space should be special, but it is not delivering.

Went here on a recent family visit to Baltimore. It was a great place for the kids to let off steam. There is so much to do that we never saw the whole place.

Port Discovery is one of my favorite children museums. It provides a wide range of activities for children to engage in. It provides exploration in countless forms. From water play to exploring the pyramids, your child will definitely learn while having fun. In addition, the gigantic climbing area is extremely engaging. Children love it!! Only issues I come across is... More

We were totally looking forward to taking our 4 and 6 year old grandkids to Port Discovery and were completely disappointed. Many of the games either done work correctly or are totally broken. The best part is the climbing tree in the middle, that works and is actually fun. But that's it! For the money (they charge adults and kids)... More

This is a good place to take kids (12ish and under) with lots to see and do. You can easily spent a whole day here, but with some editing, can make it out in about 3-4 hours. The center has a great climbing structure about 3 stories tall. Other highlights included the water room, the mini-diner, an Egyptian adventure, and... More

Took the grandchildren here as the start of our vacation. Ages ran from 5 - 10 and what a time they had! One day a month the museum has reduced prices starting at 4:00 pm. . Lots of things for children to explore, do, play and learn. A lot of climbing too. But here's a few tips,.. Bring an older... More

Awsome place. Took 18 month old and we both had blast. Lot to do...vertical interactive. Loved sand pit..light board and water area. Although we can home wet..well worth it. He enjoyed more than aquarium which I thought was great! Definitely do for young kids. Everyone friendly and helpful.
