This trail is fairly easy and there are good views of the canyon. It is near the McDonald Observatory. A nice trail and well maintained.

The loop trail up to the tanque and back is a great way to learn about local birds. Our group had about 25 species during a two-hour hike. Lovely views in many directions.

Nice hike, not difficult. Trail goes into the canyon then up to the rim for some great views of the area.
