This monument is situated at the foot of the Astoria Column and shares with it awesome views of the area. While visiting the Astoria Column, definitely walk around the grounds so you can visit this monument and explore the area.

This is a cool monument up by the Astoria Column. I love how it demonstrates the cooperation and mutual respect shared by all at the time.

Located adjacent to the Astor Column is a memorial to Chief Comcomly of the Chinook Nation. He was the leader in the 1800’s and this monument celebrates him and his life. The views behind the canoe are phenomenal
