If you are in Astoria for a Goonies trip, this is a can't miss! Even if you just like the movie, you should go! There isn't too much more to it than Goonies, but there is a little bit. It was an enjoyable time, less than an hour or so there, with a lot of great fun photo ops. It's... More

On the one hand, having a museum in the former jail is a cool concept. On the other hand, this is a tiny jail! There is some kind of an interactive film activity that might be fun for kids, but I just felt like the space overall was too crowded and didn't have as many exhibits as I was hoping... More

We thought it wasn't worth the money. If you had kids and you wanted to keep them occupied they could reenact movies on a green screen. But to just look around it was tiny and over priced

This museum was a lot of fun. It's the jail used in the Goonies and there is a nice ORV replica outside. The inside is mostly Goonies themed but there are a few things from other movies shot in the area. They have green screen serous so you can shoot your own scene as well. The gift shop is cool... Whether you go into the film museum or not you can still get your fill of Goonies set memorabilia. The museum is inside the jail used in the beginning scenes of Goonies. You can take some cool pictures outside with the signage, and the jeep the Fratellis drove is parked out front, bullet holes and everything! I won't say the... More

Former city jail turned mostly a Goonies museum. I love the Goonies movie and that is why we visited it. The movie is better than the museum. Admission was not expensive so it was ok to visit.

This museum is of interest because it was actually a former jail and was featured in the movie Goonies. It now houses film memorabilia with posters, taking an actual film of yourself and getting the results and different settings to use for your filming. I found it of little interest as I am not a film buff.

Admission is inexpensive and you can do actual movie clips from numerous movies including Goonies at no extra charge and they'll email them to you! Several movie props from Free Willy, Goonies and more!

This museum is a MUST see for any Goonies fan. Just do it. They have memorabilia from the movie as well as a great gift shop. And don't forget the Flavel House next door!
