We decided to stop at the pool and escape the 30 degree heat for a while. The facility was nice. It was a bit sandy in the leisure pool area. Also a bit expensive to drop in, compared to other community centers we have visited but it is the only one in the area. If you arent swimming in the... More

We spent a week in Cannon Beach, but felt we needed a break from the beach, sun and sand. The Astoria Aquatic Center was a great way to spend an afternoon with our grade-school aged son. The water slide was just the right size! If you're not in to the water part of things, they also have a very nice... More

Great way to burn some energy and cool off. Make sure you go when the red slide is open, usually between 5 and 7 pm, though occasionally closed during swim lessons. Clean facility with many areas to play and swim so you don't feel crowded.

The Astoria aquatic center was a life saver to my mom and I during the weekend of Nov 13-15 when it was raining cats and dogs at the North Coast and our plans to go hiking and sightseeing had to be changed drastically. The center is across from the Columbia Maritime Museum; it is not huge but it is very... More

We went to the Astoria Aquatic Center. It has several swimming pools. there is also water slides. There is a day use fee or for those who frequent it more often they can get a pass.

Good gym, fun pool - I personally enjoyed hitting the weight room and then soaking in the hot tub afterwards

I'm a serious lap swimmer and this pool is just fine. I always get a lane to myself and the water is kept at an appropriate temperature for lap swimming. Water is clean and locker room is adequate.

Great kids area and the water slide is wonderful. It has slides and a good baby pool. Children under 6 must have an adult in the pool with them.

Our 6 year old granddaughter had a great time. She can swim enough to pass the test to use the water slide and enjoyed the "hot" tub which is not all the hot, but did allow her to warm up so she could swim longer in the pool. Lifeguards were super nice and dressing rooms were spacious and nice. Fees... More
