Nice hiking and biking trails for young and not so young people, who love the outdoors. There are also baseball fields, soccer fields, playground equipment, picnic areas and a dog park. And a very famous disc golf course.

For a flat place like Jax. this park features hilly terrain which are ancient sand dunes. It also features a disc golf course for free, baseball and soccer fields.

This is a large park with seating and nice walking trails. It has baseball and soccer fields where kids practice and play in leagues. Not much shade and a very small play ground.

I went here for a run with my friend. 1.65 mile track is partly shaded and is paved. The course is by no means hilly but there are some small rises and falls. There are also soccer fields, a dog park, skateboard park, frisbee golf course and a playground. This is a good place to just go to relax.

CAUTION!!! Be very careful being in this park after sunset !! My son and his friends had a nice afternoon playing frisbee golf there, when they went to leave after sunset they were robbed at gunpoint by 3 suspects (all 3 had guns pointed at the boys heads). They took all of their possessions including a vehicle.

I have gone to Ed Austin Park several times with my friends and their young children. It’s a great park with multiple activity areas. We enjoy just walking around and enjoying the beautiful weather in a safe, scenic environment. Of course, we always spend time in the playground area. It’s a nice playground and the kids love it!

while there is no fee to go to the dog park, the volunteers are starting to make it very uncomfortable for anyone outside of this clique to take their dog there. The rules on the entrance are intended for "outsiders", not them. While there are signs for you to remove your dog shows sexual aggression toward other dogs, you are suppose to leave, they advised me when their dog showed sexual aggression to my dog, that the rules don't apply to them. There are signs all over the place that says no alcoholic beverages but every Friday and Saturday they bring their cools full of beer, wine whatever and just keep drinking till they can't speak without slurring. When they first opened it was a great dog park, but it's obvious this park is not intended for the general public's dog, it was intended for this clique, and while they do not charge to do their, they are increasing making it uncomfortable for others to enjoy it. Personally, I don't care for myself. I primarily take my dog their for his enjoyment but their dogs harassing my dog and they don't feel a need to control their dog it's their park. I thought it was just me, but I hired a dog walker because I'm leaving town for a few weeks. I hired her from one a professional place that do lots of dog care plus she volunteers for the animal shelters. Before I hired her, I wanted to meet her at the park and introduce her to my dog. Very sweet girl, she said she had a similar experience. Her dog was a rescue pitty, and she said she brought her dog their one of these volunteer's dogs attacked her dog, and they made her leave with her dog. She wasn't part of the clique. So just remember if your not part of that clique, and one of their dogs become the aggressors, you'll be the one asked or have to leave. And trying to control their dog interrupts their time gossiping and drinking about how everyone is is a bad dog owner.

Very safe park to bring young children. Nice location, lots of shaded areas, lots of swings, climbing apparatus, benches and picnic areas. Take the kids to the Regency library to get books for free then head here for outdoor activity.
