An excellent antique mall!

We had a lovely time shopping at Sugar Bear today! The selection is wonderful, prices are very reasonable, and Ms. Diane at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The restrooms were spotless as well. We can't wait for our next treasure-hunt here!

Lots to see

Every kind of booth is here. Odd and repurposed items to intrigue your senses. They say Christmas there. Will be going back.

Way Too Pricey Now
Sep 2018 • Friends
We have always stopped here when out antiquing, but not any more. The prices are pretty high & if they have sales, there are too many things that have "firm" on them. What's the sense in having 50% off if half the items in the booth are marked "firm"? We will not be going here any more.

I went here with my girlfriend to look around. They do have a good selection of various items. If in the market for old soda bottles this is a great place to look. We were greeted by a younger gentleman who was very nice. The aisles were narrow so a wheelchair would not fit in some areas.

lots of different types of items

There was some clutter, some tight booths, and some tight aisles, but overall this was a fun place to walk through. The people working there could have been a bit friendlier though. The only real problem was the golf clubs were not priced. We had to walk back to the front to ask about the price and then wait for someone to meet us back at the clubs. They had no idea what the prices were so we had to wait for them to call the owner and they had a little bit of trouble reaching him. We almost just walked out because we were tired of waiting when they came back with the price (which was very reasonable). We walked out with 4 vintage clubs to add to my husbands collection (not that he really needs more).

You can find small collectibles, bottles, furniture (wood and painted), kitchenware, books, garden art, rustic items, art, plates, glassware, toys and much more. It's a large place so it's definitely worth checking out.

We are from out of state. We would have called this a flea market. There were very few real antiques. They did have probably 40 % new stuff. If you are serious about true antiques, Don’t waste your time

Mid-Sized Antiques Mall (Individual Seller Booths)
Nov 2017 • Couples
Friendly and helpful staff. Prices are all over the place since each booth sets its own prices. Heavy on the collectibles. A few booths sell nice handmade crafts. Worth a stop if you're in the area and have an hour to meander.

Great place for antiques or just looking
Aug 2016 • Friends
The Sugar Bear Antiques Mall is a lovely place to visit. Make sure you have an hour or two because it is a nice sized building to wander around. They have a wide variety of vintage items, clothing, jewelry, furniture, toys, collectors items, etc. There is parking available in front of the mall. If you love antiques you will want to check out Sugar Bear Antiques Mall.

Antiques that Even I Can Afford
Feb 2016 • Couples
Say the word "antique" and for many people, it conjures up visions of expensive armoires, exquisite jewelry and priceless paintings. But Sugar Bear has antiques for any wallet, and its wall to wall, ceiling to ceiling (spilling even out onto the front patio) stuff is truly a walk through time, with oldies music (pre-1960s) to add to the mood. There's everything from tiny figurines up to furniture.

I've bought a beautiful antique oak humidor in great condition, which I use as a cabinet, for $40; several decorative desktop figurines for a few bucks a piece; and even a couple of DVDs.

It's a great place--for shopping or ogling. A must-see if you're in the Mandarin side of Jacksonville. Another bennie--it's across the street from Fresh Market.

We really enjoyed exploring this antique mall. We were looking for Jacksonville memorabilia and found lots to choose from. They have an amazing collection of pre-1900 bottles. Wide variety of collectibles dominate this place. If you want to get a true sense of North Florida, visit this Sugar Bear.
