The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra since I'very witnessed the orchestra at the St. Louis Symphony. They will entice your senses with professional musical pieces that's a sure delight for the entire family.

I was expecting a small town orchestra. They were quite good and did some great work. I would go again in a minute.

The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra is the best-kept secret in Florida! Our vivacious young conductor, Courtney Lewis, brings new energy and relatability to all generations through his outreach programs, his dynamic personality, and his passionate conducting style. If you have not bought season tickets yet, do it! If you're visiting Jax, go to a performance!

I have been to see the Jacksonville Symphony several times over the past few years. Some of the concerts that I remember were: "The Music of Queen" (Oct 2012), "Amadeus" (Mar 2013), "Ride of Valkyries" (Mar 2013), "Neil Sedaka" (Apr 2013), "Classical Mystery Tour" (Nov 2013), "Salute to America" (w/the Naval Academy Glee Club) (Nov 2014), "Porgy & Bess" (Jan... Jacksonville Symphony orchestra is a real treat for a small southern city as Jacksonville. Their music is quite simply elegant and excellent. They have a varied program every year, not the same old numbers. Under the new Music Director/Conductor Courtney Lewis, things are already looking and sounding a little different from prior years.. all in a positive way!

An very entertaining afternoon of music. Don't worry about the future of our youth when you see the quality of their music in an amazing performance. The Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra is a must see.

I saw them In Jacksonville doing an interesting concert celebrating Elvis music, it was very entertaining. They were at the Moran Theater I believe at the old civic auditorium on the river. It is a wonderful thing having a symphony orchestra in Jacksonville to promote the arts and music! I for one certainly appriciate it.

Although my husband & I only attend concerts a few times per year (due to scheduling conflicts), every time we go the symphony provides a wonderful musical experience!!

Whether you are hard core for great classics (MasterWorks), prefer rock n' roll classics (Pop Series), seek an experience for children (Family Series) or enjoy a great score to a classic movie (ET with Live music) schedules offer something for everyone and at a great price ($20-$25 indiv. ticket or varieties of packages ie: 10 concerts for $160).
