It’s a beautiful beach with lifeguards, not crowded to provide good social distancing. Only wish they can provide better shower locations.

We Stayed at the Campground, this was a beautiful spot ..... even with Covid and Social Distancing you can enjoy yourself. They have many walking trails and bike trailes, a beautiful park on a freshwater lake and then the Ocean is within Biking distance or your can take your car. We will be going back.

This was our first trip to the park. Wow! It has full hookup, a camp store , lots of trails , a lake, and a great beach . When it comes to campsites it was relatively a clean one and we didn't track a lot of dirt into our RV. It was nice and shady, quiet at night and easy access to the beach . We walked to the beach. We did bring a cart so that made it easier. When you walk out of the campground you cross the road to a small wooden walkway. You take that to a parking lot and walk a little ways to the entrance of parking lot 10. They have life guards until 6pm. Beach was beautiful and you can easily stay the day under a canopy. We rode our bikes every night to the lake or on a trail . Just a very nice place to stay.

we really enjoying the camp grounds at Hanna Park and coming here yearly for usually at least 2 weeks.. I am upset that at the beach areas they are not alerting you to the fact that there is something they call "Sea Butterflies" in the water or some people have called them sea lice...They are bugs of some sort that float in the ocean here at times that stick to your swim suits/clothing and stick you...They also will be on your body under your suit when you remove it...They poke your skin and are very uncomfortable and makes it very difficult to impossible to enjoy your time in the water... I do not understand why they don't post it???? Some people say they make u itch...???Just not a pleasant experience....We like to hop the waves with our boards and this did not work for us...POST an alert Hanna Park !!!! We will be back but will ask life guard if they are in the water next time... cuz when questioned they knew??? Camping is still great the area is great

This was our first visit. I was amazed at the length of the beach and the vast amount of parking. It was fairly empty for our visit since it was still chilly, but I can't imagine it in the hot summer months with all people that come in all the cars to fill up all that parking. The small fresh water lake provided hours of enjoyment. My husband went fishing and I just wandered with my dog enjoying the huge variety of birds on and near the water. Watching kids on the playground was fun, for awhile, too. We stayed in the campground for a couple of days...very nice campground close to the lake.
