This is a wonderful place to learn about natural history and local flora, as well as the place pollinators play in the natural environment. Their butterfly festival is a GREAT thing for families with young families to attend, with numerous vendors, presenters, and activities for...More

Good place to go and just relax. Took my 3 year old grandson, he had a blast and was nice to let him run around without fear of cars. Some nice scenic spots for photos. Take a picnic and just enjoy the day.

What a beautiful little hidden gem of a park! We stumbled on this park just passing through and it was so worth the stop! The kids loved walking through the beautiful trees and us parents really enjoyed ourselves as well. The scenery was serene and...More

This is a great visit anytime. Walk around the lake or take a more strenuous hike across the marshland and into differing eco systems. I haven't seen all that many birds, but they are supposedly there, along with alligator in the lake. Beautifully maintained with...More

We visited in January so of course nothing was blooming but we expected that. This is a forested area with a lake, wetlands, and creeks. They have walking trails that range from easy to difficult and from 800 feet to a mile. Some of the...More

Lovely place. We didn’t find a visitor center. A couple was releasing a turtle. This is how local species get decimated. No ranger around

This is such a hidden gem. Love the trails and nature. Great place to search for painted rocks or let the kids burn off some steam. It's very shaded easily accessible and usually not too buggy.
