Great Venue

Perfect place to see a concert. Big enough to have a crowd but much more intimate that some of the big places in town. Keep up the great work!

Love the feel of this theatre! Very authentic! Great sound! We've enjoyed Chris Botti, Dave Koz and Gabriel Eglesias, all excellent! Seats have been all over and yet still great!

I love going to concerts at The Florida Theatre. The venue is very intimate. You feel close to the stage from all seats. The architecture inside the theater is beautiful. The only downside is the bathrooms. The bathroom facilities are small and older.

My trip to The Florida Theatre is unique in that I am a band photographer who was on a Florida tour with two bands. Shows of that magnitude offer more than their fair share of stress believe me! Upon arrival at The Florida Theatre In immediately noticed there was a grunge festival going on in the street next to the... More

This was our first time at the Florida Theatre and I'm not sure I'd go back. The theatre is beautiful and historic. However, so are the seats. I felt like I was on a United Airlines plane..... very narrow seats and absolutely no leg room, very uncomfortable for a two hour show unless you are pencil thin and have short... More

This once-upon -a-time movie theatre is now showing live musical and theatre productions. The repurposed venue is intoxicating with charm, with its upper and lower balcony and first floor seating arrangements. A few months ago my husband and I attended a 1950's popular vocal group concert group there. Seating was fine for me, but if your partner has long legs,... More

Best venue to see a show. I've seen over two hundred rock concerts in eight different states and this place is the best. Great seats, intimate setting, and world class acoustics. Sit in the loge for the best seats...it hangs over so far that you're almost on top of the stage. Become a friend for 150 a year, and get... More

The Florida Theatre is an incredible historical venue. There is not a poor seat in the house. I highly recommend a balcony seat if you are seeing a multi-member band or stage performance.

My wife and I enjoyed a night out here at a comedy show a couple months back. The place has a lot of history. The last time I was here was when my wife was in the Miss Jacksonville contest many years ago. There were to shows going on at the same time but that didn't effect us or the... More
