I am so glad we parked here for our cruise on the Carnival Elation. This was our first time parking at a port, we normally park off site and take shuttles. To do that here, it would have only saved us $20. I didn't think that was worth the shuttle times, so we parked at the port. This has to... More

It had been awhile since we had been on a cruise. Almost 10 years!!! We found this rather easily and it was close to the ship. It had a gravel lot with high chain link fence. One would think that for $15 it would be paved.

Much smaller port than most, but it was a lot easier to park and get to the ship. We booked online and got parking less than 75 yards from the entrance of the terminal. People there were very friendly and provided water and chips while we waited.

Every thing aboard this ship is a secret. Feb 8, 2016 left Jax Port. Feb 9, 2016 day at sea. Feb 10, 2016 Half Moon Cay. I found out through the grape vine that we needed a sticker to get on the service boat to go ashore. That took a two hour wait in line. Feb 12 was the last... More

We have friends that are “cruisers”, but this was our first time going on a cruise. We flew down to Jacksonville the night before, and were ready to hop on the Fascination the next morning. It was a five day jaunt to Nassau and Freeport in the Bahamas. The most important item I would say as a first-time cruiser is... More

THE PORT We took a 5-day Carnival Cruise. The JaxPort itself was not all that great, but then again it is simply a place to board the ship from, not a place you spend much time at. THE SHIP The Carnival Fascination was an overall good experience for me. Not 'great' but it was an overall good time. You can... More

We took a 5 day cruise on Carnival Fascination out of Jax Port for Nassau and Freeport. We stayed in cabin E91, which was managed by steward Dion, who did a lovely job. This cabin was too close to the entertainment in the centre of the boat and we would prefer a quieter cabin a little farther stern or forward.... More
