Customer Service. Great time. Highly recommended. Kept us on the fish all day. Will be back again to fish with them in the future.

The last time I went, I invited a lot of family members. The captain seemed as if he was in a rush. As soon as we dropped our lines, he had us pull them up, stating there were fish "here" or "there". Also the water was choppy and he was steering the boat like you do a car. I've been on several trips with the Majesty, and I'm beginning to think you get what you pay for. My family is planning another outing and we've decided to rent a private boat.

We literally just got off the Majesty. It was an awesome day. We left at 8 am. Rode out about 2 hours, fished for 4 then came back in. While at fishing, the captain would move us around if the fish weren’t biting. The crew was awesome. Running everywhere to help everyone with their catches. Our son 10 was the only kid on the ship and they were great with him. After we got back they then cleaned our fish and filleted them for us. Definitely a class act group. We be back next time we are in Jacksonville.

I had a chance to fish on Majesty and Princess. I have been on Majesty about 5 times and took one Princess trip. Fishing: Both boats offer very good to excellent fishing. A full day trip starts at 8:00am and the boat is back in Mayport around 4 pm. It takes about 1 hour 45 minutes to get to the first fishing spot and on average a captain would change spots about 5 times. This boils down to about 4 hours of actual fishing. The captain and the mates really take care of you. However, you need to keep in mind that you might end up fishing in 6 feet waves. Please check marine forecast and just in case take Dramamine to make sure you are not puking while the rest of the crowd is trying to catch a big one. For the marine forecast please google Mayport Fl marine forecast. Boat comfort: Majesty is hands down better than Princess. First, Majesty is bigger and more stable in rough seas. Also, Princess has perhaps about 14 seating spots in its inside cabin while its capacity is about 45. Whereas Majesty can seat about 35 in its cabin with its capacity being about 45. These are just estimates but the bottom line is that you will likely be more comfortable on Majesty. Equipment: Both boats offer basic, solid, one-hook, bottom-fishing gear. However, you are better off with your own two-hook rig or perhaps your own gear. Fish: Most of us would catch bee-liner or vermilion snappers. Red snappers are common, but you must let them go because they are protected unless you are lucky to be on the boat during the two-weekend red snapper season. I saw people catch occasional cobia, barracuda, African pompano, different kinds of jacks, bonito tuna, sharks, and some trash fish such as grunts that could be uses as a bate. The mates will clean your catch for you so the only thing you need to do is to cook it. I want to say again that both captains do care about you. On one occasion the captain turned the boat back because he estimated that the seas were too rough. Clearly, he cared about customers more than money he had to return to us. I hope you will enjoy your fishing trip.
