Great Half-Day Trip
Oct 2020 • Friends
Awesome location under the bridge always makes it shady and right on the water, just beautiful! Unique selection of vendors: plants, honey, breads, veggies, (accepts SNAP) and creators with woodworking, glassblowing, jewelry making, and more. Food trucks and near restaurants and other shops in riverside. Easy parking, easy to walk around. Yes there’s bathrooms and it’s wheelchair accessible being on pavement. Can get crowded, asked that attendees wear masks.

Must-go for locals. Not for tourists since it's not "uniquely" Jax.

Wow what a venue for a market. I never realized what you can do with the underside of a bridge! Ample parking, flushable privies, great selection of food trucks, mostly beautiful wares. I discovered it one week, already went back a second the following week. So easy and affordable, I'd take a trip over just for lunch even if I wasn't going to shop. Picked up some very affordable produce that looked great, and avoided what I thought were way overpriced baked goods. ($9 for a loaf of bread?) My husband laughs for how hard it is to get me to pull money out and buy things but so much temptation and I definitely gave it to some. I made a $5 dessert at a Greek place into 3 nights of dessert. Seriously affordable food, the artists are a mixed bag of affordable, appropriate, and others thinking way too much of themselves. Skip the picnic tables. Take your food to the terraced brick walls and if you have kids, they can work off some energy there too. Dog friendly. They request mask wearing.

Went to the Riverside Air Market: parking was easy; police onsite to help with pedestrian street crossing; everyone was friendly throughout; many food truck vendors that offered wide variety of cultural food; farmers market on site; bakery items for sale and tastes great; artists galore with great items; we bought some silver items

The market is small but enjoyable and fun to walk through. It shouldn’t take more then 1 hour but we also walked along the river so your time here can vary depending on how much you want to do. There are several good food trucks and we snacked our way through the market. All of the food we had was good and reasonably priced. There are bathrooms and since it’s under the overpass there is shade and you are protected from the rain.
Los of people bring there dogs so it’s a very pet friendly area. Lots of kids and families having fun as well. There was live music which was good and added to the overall atmosphere.

Small but delightful
Jun 2019
Not the largest market I've been to, but big enough to be worth the effort. Nice variety of farm produce, food, and arts and crafts vendors. The location is nice being under an overpass giving shade and rain protection. When we went there was a good singer with guitar performing in the ampitheater area. Parking in the lots nearby was easy and free.

Great market!
Jul 2019 • Couples
My husband and I were in town visiting Jacksonville and decided to check out this market. The location was great! We're both white, white, white and the market was located under the overpass so it was very shady. Yay! We enjoyed a waffle from the waffle truck and some kettle corn. There was a nice variety of vendors! If we lived locally, I would be sure to visit regularly.

Small but packed with great vendors. Farmers market type offerings as well as art and food. There is lots to see. The bridge adds nice acoustics for the musicians. Pet and family friendly. Easy access downtown with police to assist in directing traffic. Overall, a pleasant way to spend a Saturday.

Although not very big we enjoyed the atmosphere and great food. Plenty of locally made items at a reasonable price. Close to the museum so it was a good place to visit afterwards.

Definitely wheelchair accessible. I know they have parking for handicap permitted vehicles, however, I am not exactly sure where it is. The officer directing traffic on Riverside Ave. should be able to help with parking.

They were not corrfect. Only open early March to mid December. ONLY open Saturdays and hours were wrong. It is 10 am to 4 pm. Get there before 11am for smallest crowds, lower temps and best produce.
