Amazing atmosphere! Very cozy, cool place with great beer! Staff is amazing and food is the best bar food ever! Pizza, quesadilla burger, garlic parmesan fries.. I loved them, all. Big applause to Milena, our bartender. She was so personable, attentive and she gave the best beer advice for my taste. Only one downside is not having an AC in Florida heat.. Fans work fine but still not the same..

Okay wife and I went here a couple of times. They have great beer!! It’s a small brewery but they make you feel very welcomed. Wife says try the Dukes. I loved the Mad Manatee we brought some home!!

Bold City Brewery operates in a warehouse and offers a Tap Room seating around 30. The Tap Room is climate controlled; warehouse/brewery tours are not. On weekends they have a guy who brings his commercial grill and serves burgers, chili, and several other foods; all are quite good and very reasonable in price. It's a neighborhood kind of place; funky, friendly, fun, and worth visiting.

We hung out at the original location and had a great time. Best craft beer prices I have seen in a long time and great beers. Had them all!

Stumbled upon this place whilst in downtown Jacksonville.. Thankfully as there is nothing & I mean nothing to do in Jacksonville on a weekend.
This place is a gem..we are out of towners from UK..safe.. friendly..fab choice of craft beers..$4-6..$2 mimosa on Sunday. Good atmosphere on game days.
The bartender was Fabulous.. utterly Fabulous.
We came sat night & sunday as it was so good! Would definitely recommend.

Our "Tour Guide" Ryan, made us very welcome, supplied us with 6 sampler flights FREE! and spent plenty of time with us one evening. They have great core beers, a couple of specials brews, and there is a small kitchen with pub bites for snacks. Just to be clear we were at the brewery location, not the tasting room downtown. Duke's Brown ale is fantastic!!!

On our first trip to Jacksonville, this was our first stop and it was probably my favorite place we went to the entire weekend. The bartender was terrific - genuine, personable, fun to talk with. The kind of person you come back to hang out with. And the beers were fantastic. I went with a flight and loved every beer I tried, which is highly unusual. Such a great variety of brews and yet, even the ones I thought I could predict how they'd taste, surprised me. They have a unique spin on the norm, coupled with awesomely creative names. If you love microbreweries, don't miss this stop!

Big hotels are SO STUFFY. One block north of Hyatt location is great. Casual vibe, great beer and friendly barstaff. Music on weekends and stays open till at least midnight.
Interesting beer on tap - and friendly servers.
NO FOOD - but allow you to bring in takeout. DO bring food! No worries.

A group of 8 of us did a tour and tasting and had a great time. Kevin did our tour and he was great. Loved 90% of the beers we tasted (the rum one was a bit to strong for me). Favorites were their Pumpkin Ale, Duke and Mad Manatee IPA. Definitely worth a visit.

reservations????
Written May 16, 2017
No need for reservations. They do have bands sometimes as well as other events. It is fun to sit on a Sat night, listen to a band and play some board games. So relaxing and chill.
