We went to Huguenot park for a paddle board trip with our grown daughter. We had a blast! Nice areas to park and unload the paddle boards. The inlet is protected from the surf and waves. A smooth flat shallow inlet that was perfect for...More

Although this park apparently had some damage from Hurricane Irma it is open and fun to go to. They say you need four wheel drive but half the cars weren’t. You can drive on the beach especially at low tide. The water that day was...More

There is so much for our family to do : swimming, fishing, paddle boarding. We love it and the fact that it is a drive on beach makes it super convenient. However it is a drive on beach so there are occasionally accidents. Be cautious!

Have to be careful not to get stuck I. The sand or park too close to the water. Can walk on the jetty and see the Navy ships in port. Is on the inlet. You can park on the beach

Very clean beach! Large sandbar that was easily accessible to walk to during low tide. Not a rocky shore at all. Water temps were very warm! Not big waves if you are looking for that. We love to jump and dive in the waves but...More

Visited on a rainy day this May. The beaches in this park are solid and allow vehicles. The spot by the jetties offers up good surf to those who can ride. Seems to be a decent fishing area as well.

Although this beach is 20+ miles from my home, I have made a commitment to myself to visit at least twice a month until the summer crowds start. Being able to drive right up to the waters edge is what attracts me. I prefer to...More

A hidden gem many Floridians don't know about or frequent. Had a lot of hurricane damage from last year but will be returning this year!

Over near the water, you'd probably be fine. Your problem would be driving through the entrance between the dunes. It was a bit soft and deep there. I have an awd Nissan Rogue and had no problems. On the day that we... More

There are restrooms at the Nature Center. There may be others, but I have not been to most other places in the park, so I don't know.
