Pretty fountain

It's really large and pretty. Great spot to sit and enjoy the view. Not much else to do around it and parking is tough

A stunning, peaceful fountain, with a gorgeous view of downtown Jacksonville. There are benches around the fountain so you can sit and enjoy the St. John's.

Friendship Fountain is so beautiful at night. We love to stay at the Hilton just a couple drive down from the fountain and have dinner out at the Chart House right on the St. John's River. Always a great Kodak moment!

Jacksonville's river-walks offer an awesome view of the downtown landscape! They extend from the south to north side of the river. The fountain is so beautiful and serene and is a great place to visit after dinner at one of the nearby restaurants. Plenty of seating, walking along the river-walks and is also next door to the MOSH (Museum of... More

It's gorgeous, and I love the view across the water. A great place to take pictures and walk on a beautiful day or night. At night the lights of the fountain and the gorgeous Jacksonville skyline combine to be an amazing view. It's a nice little spot to chill and relax, and watch the downtown across the river. I highly... More

We went to the fountain during the day;It looks like a plain large fountain to me with water shooting out - no colors . There are benches to sit on and the background is the riverfront walk with a view across the river. Not much more to do at the fountain except walk around it or sit on one of... More

The riverfront walk on the Southbank is one of Jacksonville's best kept secrets. Plus it is free. A mile and a half of great views which includes the beautiful a friendship Fountain. Take the time to walk this gem.

I grew up in Jacksonville and always make a point to visit Frienship Fountain when I am in town. It still provides a beautiful view across the river and the walk is peaceful. Worth the effort.

It is amazing just how quiet it is around the fountain, even during the busiest part of the day. At night, the colors are soothing. You can see how much the park is used, yet the people respect it and keep it clean. A great place to workout, read, or just relax.
