Had another great day fishing with Captain Don Taylor !
Once again he hit it hard for 9.5 hours and found some nice Reds but we just couldn’t seem to put one keeper in the boat. One thing for sure is the next time I ask my wife about going fishing for a Red Fish, she will know just what I am talking about and why I want to go...her arm is sore 😂
Thank you Captain for a day of fishing never to be forgotten!

I contacted Capt Don Taylor and explained that I was not focused to simply catching redfish but wanted to learn more about fishing for redfish in the JAX area. His knowledge and enthusiasm is what I was looking for in a guide. I have been out with him twice so far and his willingness to share knowledge and patience with a rookie redfisher like me has proven to be of tremendous value to me. I grow so much with each trip and looking forward to many more trips with Capt Don. His boat is extremely versatile for any situation from skinny water to sight fishing from the tower. If you are looking for a great day on the water, Capt Don works very hard to accommodate your every need! Plus, he put me on my first beautiful over slot red fish on the first day out! Thanks for all you do Capt Don!

We met Captain Don at the sisters creek boat ramp. It was a cold and windy day. We set out on an adventure of a lifetime. I had never fished anything saltwater. Captain Don was awesome in offering advise on how to do things better than what I was failing at. Lol
We caught a lot of fish and spent all day on the water.
Catching my 1st Red was crazy cool. And it was a big one.
If you are looking for some fun fishing then give Captain Don a call.

The family came down from Atlanta and wanted to try a guided inshore fishing trip. Capitan Taylor was recommended by a friend, and all of the reviews were great, so we booked. That was the right start to a great trip for a group that had little to no real experience.
My son-in-law and I hooked many, but had no keepers. When I hooked a huge tarpin and let it get away I think that Don felt worse about it than I did. My daughter; however, landed three nice fish, a red, trout, and flounder - all good size fish.
Don was patient with us and very good at teaching us little techniques that were very successful. He made the trip loads of fun, and we also took home fish. He is an excellent guide that I fully recommend to anyone looking for a great guided trip!

Captain Don knows the St. John's River very well. He grew up on these waters and has spent a lot of time scouting the best areas to catch big redfish. From the Mayport boat ramp, it was less than 20 minutes before we were able to start fishing. We moved to several spots throughout the day and each spot produced redfish. And all of the fish that we caught were upper slot or bigger. My wife even landed a bonnet head shark. And my son wanted a flounder, so we stopped at a spot at the end of the day to get one of those, as well.
He's also a good instructor and taught us a lot throughout the day. We visit Jacksonville often and I've had other guides that were Tripadvisor recommended, but none were as good as Don. We will absolutely book a charter with him on our next trip back to JAX.

Looking for that perfect gift? You can’t go wrong with Inshore Outdoors Fishing!!!! My husband received a charter as a gift for his retirement this year..... We had such a great time with Capt Don. He put us right on the fish and we caught our first reds and many more!!!! Such a great time!!!! We LOVE and recommend Inshore Outdoors Fishing!!!!!

I've been fishing with Don 5 times in the last year, that should tell you how good a guide he is. We have had days where we caught literally dozens and had to release plenty and have had days with 20 plus mph winds and very challenging environment; but he hangs in there and we always catch fish and have a blast. Don always puts us on fish, which is all you can ask a guide to do. I will be going back soon!

My recent trip with Captain Don was a great learning experience and a must do for people who love fishing or want to experience the joy of fishing. Don worked extremely hard to put us on fish and succeeded on a day that the weather was highly uncooperative. He did this while making sure that we were having fun and comfortable. This is a man who loves to fish and can impart that joy to his clients.

Met Captain Don a year ago and finally went fishing with him and he delivered. The first thing I liked was he wanted to make sure we caught all the fish we wanted. We caught fish within 30 minutes of leaving the dock. Actually, there was no time limit which I loved. Captain Don said we will fish as long as you want. A nice touch. We caught reds and trout and had many nice meals from our catch.
I strongly recommend Captain Don for a fishing charter.

My two sons and I spent the day with Captain Don and all I can say is he is a master of his trade. Not only was he patient with my boys and in finding the fish but he also made sure we all laughed through the day. Would recommend Captain Don to anyone looking for a great day outdoors with a guide who understands what life is all about and knows how to spend a great day on the water.
