Excellent hard ciders to sample and purchase
We only partook of the hard cider samplings. We were hungry for lunch and the cheese plate offered would not have satisfied our appetites. They have a number of hard ciders to sample. We had two flights shared between 3 out of 4 of us. The hard ciders are very good and we ended up purchasing 4 bottles. There is also wine samplings available to try, which we did not do. Local beers are available for then non-wine and hard cider drinkers. I don't know what they do in the colder months because the indoor area is very small. There are plenty of tables outdoors, which is where we sat. We visited during the day, but entertainment is available at night, but I believe just weekends.

    Great cider
We greatly enjoyed many of the ciders particularly the cherry. We very much enjoyed the cheese plate. We liked the tents out back and wish we could have seen the live music. We found the staff friendly but not easily and succinctly able to answer questions about the ciders. And maybe sensed a bit of annoyance when we did not understand. For example, questions on alcohol content to two staffers met with a shrug and a non answer. We are used to having the cider flight presented to us in lease dry to most sweet. They were not and the staff member we asked just shrugged and acted surprised that was a thing. We did not try the wine. The light up sign in the front only says Wine. If I had not researched ahead, we would have missed it.

    Amazing Cider
Such an amazing place. You can get a flight of cider or wine, both which are amazing and sit in the yard under the vines or in their side room that overlooks the street. My friend and I enjoyed playing a game while sipping cider one night, went back for live entertainment upstairs the next night and my favorite was sitting in the yard under the grape vines. It’s such a great atmosphere and I stop every time I’m there!
Thanks so much for the kind words! We hope to see you back soon!!

My husband and I spent the weekend in Gettysburg and ended up going here twice to just hang out and relax. On the first day we did cider and wine flights. All of the drinks were delicious and we ended up buying several bottles of cider. On the second day we drank cider and just enjoyed the outdoor seating area while waiting for our dinner reservations elsewhere. We purchased the Mediterranean cheese plate, which was delicious. I highly recommend Reid’s as a stop while in Gettysburg.

We went here as part of the Savor Gettysburg food tour. There was a wide variety of wines and ciders to try, and each was paired with a food. The hostess was very friendly and personable. We had children on the tour and she even made sure to set up a separate table for them, with their own snacks, so they didn't feel left out.

We sat outside in the patio seating with our dog. You order from a window outside then can choose where you sit. We really enjoyed the cider and the pretzel that we ordered. The staff was friendly and kept the patio very clean. They seemed diligent about cleaning the tables off after people left. The cider itself was excellent. You could get tasting pours. We opted to try a few and thought they were all excellent.

Reid’s is a cute little tasting room located in Gettysburg. My friend and I sampled some of their wines and buying a few. They had a lovely side porch where we could sit in. Enjoy your flight of wine.

I love hard ciders and have stopped at many cidery’s and love to try new ciders wherever I go. I must say this is truly the best cider house I have come across in all my travels. I bought growlers full of two of my favorites- Country Bear and Ginger-and the Down Under was another gem.
They are also dog friendly and have a nice outdoor space. They offer flights of your choice. We tried them all! My husband is not as big of a cider fan as I am but he was even impressed! Well worth a stop if you’re a cider fan.

We were here this past weekend with our golden retriever group and had an amazing time. Hubby and I have walked past this place a couple of times when in town but this is the first time we got to experience it. We enjoyed the music and although I'm usually a mixed drink person I really enjoyed the ciders we tried, especially the peach one. The charcuterie board selection was very nice, our golden really enjoyed being able to share the apples and a couple of bites of cheese. Looking forward to trying the strawberry cider on our next visit. The staff was friendly and we really appreciated the place welcoming us at the last minute and love that you offer a pet friendly patio.

We stopped in for a glass of wine and hard cider before our ghost tour up the street. The back outdoor sitting area was nice but could use a little mood lighting to amp it up a bit. The music upstairs sounded great and maybe if we had more time this place could have been some fun. The service was efficient but nothing special, we kinda felt like a bother to her. I would go back and try it again though, they seemed to have some speciality flavors to try.

Hi, Thank you for the review and for stopping by to visit us! We are still working on getting the chairs and lighting up and running in the backyard, I apologize that it wasn't quite set up yet. We do always have different types of cider rotating on tap, so I definitely recommend stopping by again when you are back in the area. Have a great day!

Average winery. The bearded kid serving us was friendly and attentive. Cost is reasonable. The experience is ruined by covid and the governor's orders though sadly. Great wines though and worth a stop in for something to drink!

We have been to a few of the wineries in Gettysburg. The tasting area is pretty small. They have an attached enclosed seating area. You can get 3 pours for $10. Unfortunately, if you pick one you don’t really care for, you have a small glass of wine to waste....
I much prefer when you can sample several different kinds & then buy a glass or 2 to
Enjoy. There was not any food available that we were aware of. Staff was not very friendly and did not offer any information or insights into the wines. I highly recommend going to the Adams County Winery if you are looking for a winery to try.

PA Wines are always challenging but Reids does a good job with their Reds. Very drinkable everyday wines. And the live music in the back courtyard is always fun and entertaining.
