We all enjoyed the tour led by Starr, she was very informative and had amazing patients with my kids questions. We knew the story of Jennie Wade already but letting the kids see where it actually happened was great!

Knew the story of Jennie Wade, but this was the first time I got to take the tour. Found it very interesting and toured the entire house. Worth a trip to learn all about Jennie Wade.

This was one of the first guided tours we ever did in Gettysburg and, so far, it's still the best we've been on. Such a sad story! Our tour guide was a lady named Starr and she was definitely a star!! We already knew the story of Jennie, but she knew so much more than we did and made it... More

I almost skipped it, how much can there be to see in a little house right? It's more of an experience, the guides are great story tellers and bring the story to life. It's an important story everyone should learn about and actually being in the house where it happened gives you the chills a little bit.

NOT WORTH IT!...watch the history stuff on TV...two rooms. Total wast of money. The guide was 100% on her game and couldn't be nicer..but the tour was a rip off.

This was our main stop while visiting Gettysburg. The tour guide Star did an excellent job of telling the story of Jennie Wade and her family. We all walked away wanting to know more about the Wade family and others that found their homes in the middle of the civil war.

A duplex in the 19th century; who knew? You can read all about Jennie Wade but seeing is the real deal. The guide makes your tour well-worthwhile and helps with perspective on the events before and after her demise. The house is tiny. It reminds us that people were smaller and bigger isn't always better. People made do with much... More

The employees here at the Jennie Wade house are so wonderful and kind. There is something in their store for everyone. My fiance and I have a thing for pennies, and they had pennies in jars. They have all kinds of neat little things to look at in the shop. They have a great tour of the Jennie Wade House... More
