I have been bringing young children to Explore and More every summer for over 16 years now. Each year it is loads of fun. I would recommend this highly to anyone with young kids. The two ladies that run this are top-notch former teachers who know learning and fun are linked directly together. Plan to spend at least three hours... More

My 4 yo loved E & M and I loved watching her explore new things and ideas. There is something to do on every inch of this house. There is a science room, art room, industrial/factory play, lights and 1862 dress up and full kitchen play area. Endless activities to keep your child's imagination going!

We took our grandson there, and he had a blast. I think we all had a blast! There were so many cool things for younger kids to do! He was just out of Kindergarten when we went. Just when you think there can't be anymore things, there was another activity to do. It was a fun and meaningful activity packed... More

Our family loves Explore & More Museum, and it's quickly becoming a tradition with every trip to Gettysburg. Located in house built in the 1800's, there are different areas with various types of activities. Our family's favorite is the giant bubble maker! The kids also love the dress-up area, arts & crafts room, and the backyard with sandpit and other... More

I've been here several times with the oldest granddaughter, and she wants to go there every time she comes to town, where we live, to visit us.. She loves the general store/house area especially - never tires of it! - and also the construction zone upstairs. There is a lot to do, including some sciency stuff (for young children), arts... Spent a few hours here with my grandson and we had a fun time, Clean, Fun, and many interesting things to see and do. He is 8 yrs old and I would say 8 and younger this is the perfect place for a few hours of fun.

It is a little hard to find, but worth the search. Not far from downtown, this attraction is great for younger kids to have fun and learn a few things at the same time. Our children, 4 and 7, enjoyed many arts and crafts, playing and experimenting, and having lots of fun. The owner is friendly and passionate about her... More

This destination shouldn't be missed for young families. We've visited her several times over the last 10 years, both to just visit and to hold a child's birthday party. The staff is expert in creating a great time for the kiddos. Plenty to stay occupied here.

my granddaughter had lots of fun here. She had been here once before and kept running to this and that; and returned over and over to her favorites. it's a good rainy day activity and something set apart for children who aren't ready for the heavy duty education of the Battle of Gettysburg.
