About
Gettysburg is a hotbed of ghostly activity and the spirits are mighty restless. Step inside the Haunted Orphanage, where innocent children were tortured by a cruel and abusive matron. Visit the Spirits of the Jennie Wade House, site of the Battle's only civilian death. Experience an Encounter Tour where your guide is a GHOST who has returned to tell their tale. Ride the Ghost Bus to some of Gettysburg's most haunted landmarks, or even host your own paranormal investigation. At Ghostly Images of Gettysburg we step back in time by allowing guests to be inside two of Americas most haunted houses. What will you experience? Purchase tickets online as space is limited.

Jim was a wonderful tour guide! He made sure we got our moneys worth and was a very detailed storyteller. He was engaging and we could tell he really loves what he does. We learned a lot of history behind the haunted places on the tour and he handled himself very professionally and with humor when we were rudely interrupted by another of your tour guides with her group. She on the other hand seemed very stressed that Jim wasn’t finished with a specific part of the tour yet and continually interrupted him saying he “should be moving on now” until Jim graciously stopped our story and let her go ahead as she seemed to be in a big rush. He made sure to take us back and finished the “bullet in the door” story after she moved on. I would love to take the tour again once we’re allowed back in the buildings as long as Jim is the guide. My 10 year old daughter has been raving about how much fun she had listening to him and how he made the stories fun. Kudos to Jim, thanks for a fun evening in Gettysburg!

Decided to do the Jennie Wade Ghost Tour with a few friends and it was a phenomenal experience. We had Rachel as our storyteller for the evening and she was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and attentive. Going into it, I was a bit skeptical. For $10 a person, I thought it would be a fun little activity to do with friends in the evening that would offer up some interesting historical insights. But I did not think it would be much of a paranormal experience. However, I was absolutely blown away! Rachel (our storyteller) was able to provide great historical knowledge that would serve as a baseline for the paranormal happenings within the Jennie Wade house. I cannot stress enough how cool this experience was. I won’t go into detail about some off the strange things I noticed while on the tour so as not to spoil anything. However, I highly recommend checking it out for yourself! The price cannot be beat and the experience is terrific.

Me and my mom went on this tour in October it was the walking tour we were a little bit disappointed that the inside tour was all booked up but it was a very excellent tour I felt like a lot of the stories were fake but it was very entertaining nonetheless and our tour guide was James he was a very good story teller definitely worth the money. The highlight of the tour was the ghost hunter who joined in on the tour he had a radar that tracked "ghostly energy" so we were all very interested in that. Definitely go here you wont regret it!

Yes Covid put a restraint on the amount we could do, unless we signed up for the more expensive weekend tours where they would let us in. We paid for a tour of three parking lots, two windows and an outhouse where I had to use my imagination more than I saw. Eric was nice and would probably have been a great storyteller if he had a real story to tell outside of a maintenance employees late night breaking of a glass and the racist memory of a white lady trying to wash the black off a child. The tour should have been 45 minutes tops if you won’t let people in the buildings and my suggestion is to come up with some better anecdotes outside of Ryan getting shoved by his abusive parents in a basement (but blamed in on a ghost).

All eight in our group collectively agree that Gettysburg has too much material around for this to have been so bad.

Happy Halloween.

The Haunted Orphanage was amazing. The "ghost" doing the tour did an outstanding job. She dressed in the period clothing and told stories as the girl who lived there. At the end when she introduced herself out of character, she told stories of the area and of the buildings we were in at the time. It was a great family outing that my teenage daughter enjoyed as well

We toured the Jennie Wade home with our guide, Liz, who portrayed Jennie's mother, Mary. Liz was absolutely terrific! It was so much fun and informative at the same time. The history and re-enactment of the events leading up to Jennie's death was very interesting. Liz made us feel like we were there! We would HIGHLY recommend this tour and we plan to take another tour with Ghostly Images of Gettysburg on our next trip.

If we had done our research, we would have figured out that this was not a walking tour. The orphanage that you cannot go in is part of the store where you meet your guide and the Jenny Wade house is basically across the street. You don’t really do any walking around the guide was Rachel and she was very nice and she was very informative but she’s better suited to be giving a history lecture on the battlefield This tour was not scary or creepy. As we were leaving we saw various groups walking around town with their guide dressed in Costumes. I understand that these are different times meaning Covid and that it’s a business and they have to try to make a living. On the plus side the gift shop that they have there really has a lot of cute things at reasonable prices to buy, especially with Halloween coming up.

Rachel was our storyteller/tour guide. She has a degree in American History and she did a superb job! She was a pleasure to listen to, super knowledgeable about facts and stories, very informative! She took us on a tour inside the Jennie Wade house. Although I did not personally experience any unexplained paranormal phenomenon, it was worth it. Unfortunately, we booked a ghost tour with another company a few days ago and it was very disappointing as we were not permitted inside any buildings...
Definitely not the case here with Ghostly Images Tours!
We will be back!

James was fantastic, when we were In The Jenny Wade house we experienced the chain moving and a K2 meter spike. When I tried to stop the chain from moving it had a vibration sensation and never stopped swinging. James even took the time after the tour to tell us stories of experiences he had. I would go again. Thanks James for a neat experience.

Our tour on 7/14/21 was great. Our guide told the historic and scary stories well. He was able to entertain both adults and children in the group. The only part that could be improved is the ambiance could be spookier.
