We had Chuck today as our guide and he was so knowledgeable, there wasn't a question he could not answer. We had a family of 6. Our four daughters range from 12-15. I only arranged a two hour tour as two of the girls were not as interested as the others, however once on the tour they would have enjoyed... More

We spent three hours at Culp’s Hill and three hours walking Pickett’s charge on two different days with Battlefield Guide George Maturi. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the battlefield and had notebooks with pictures and maps for each site. He brought the battle to life for us. He is very pleasant, courteous, and professional. We highly recommend... More

We had a Licensed Battlefield Guide and he really transferred a feel for what happened here those days in the past. Several questions were answered in a professional and friendly manor. I highly recommend using this service!

We decided to get a tour of Gettysburg from a Licensed Battlefield Guide. It was $55 for two hours (+optional tip), and was well worth it! Our guide drove our vehicle and personalized our tour so that we saw the parts of the park that were interesting to us (state monuments, etc). Part of the tour went through the town,... More

We opted for the four hour tour. Our Licensed guide was Chris Rebmon. He was excellent. Outstanding knowledge of all areas and locations of the battlefield and battle. These tours are excellent. I can not imagine going to Gettysburg and not taking a tour by a licensed guide. There is so much detailed information they share. They want to know... More

We have visited 7 battlefields in a 4 week trip through VA, NC and a touch of PA. We decided to engage tour guides in 2 of them because of a particular interest. The guides were both excellent though they had very different presentation styles. On the Gettysburg tour, our guide was Stuart Dempsey. We visited areas in the sequence... More

This was our first trip to Gettysburg. The best thing we did was to reserve the services of a guide. The battlefield is of considerable size and would be difficult to navigate without someone that knows the history of the battle and the background of the Civil War.

We made our reservations nine months ago and added an extra hour to the two hour tour. These guides are experts, Ann must pass a rigid test. Paul was very personable. Paul added to our extensive Gettysburg knowledge.

We spent an enjoyable and educational afternoon with Chris Army, who gave us a thorough and exciting understanding of the Battle of Gettysburg. He's pleasant and entertaining and has a vast knowledge of the time period. He was extremely generous with his time and went over our allotted tour time. We highly recommend Chris and the Licensed Battlefield Guides to... More
