The Inn where we stayed arranged for a private battlefield guide/tour for us and it was well worth our time and the cost. We were met at our Inn by a very friendly, knowledgeable guide who drove us through the battlefield in our car on a lovely, cool Sunday morning. We stopped at many special locations where our guide elaborated... More

I called about 2 months ahead to book a guide. Unfortunately, when I left the message the day/date did not match up. I wasn't home to talk to the guide when he called that evening, and noone caught the error. About a week before our trip I got out the paper to plan, and realized my mistake. Despite several phone... The licensed guides of Gettysburg are the best kept secret in town. You can take an audio tour of part of the battlefields, but getting a knowledgeable guide in your car for a personal tour of the area and battles is the best way to go. These people are experts in their field and enjoy what they do. They will... More

Chris Rebmann was phenomenal. Everything was in chronological order so we followed the ebb and flow of the many battles. Glad we went for the 4-hour option. Well worth it. One highlight: we stood by one of the canons and he showed us how they were sited, primed and fired.

Thanks to Chuck for his informative commentary... found it really useful to move around the site following the changing fortunes from Day 1 to Day 3..the site is well preserved and with only a little imagination you can conjure the images the rebelling of events suggests. Had no idea how extensive the placement monuments would be. Understand better the continuing... More

Richard is an outstanding tour guide. He made the Battle of Gettysburg come alive for us. He has a wealth of information which he enthusiastically shared with our group. His descriptions of the battle and the generals involved gave us another perspective of the Battle of Gettysburg. Don't go to Gettysburg without taking a guided tour. If you can get... More

This tour was fantastic. So much better than a bus tour with lots of people. Eric was incredibly knowledgeable and while he drove we could pay attention to what he was saying. He knew so much history, not only about the battles but what went before and after. Don't miss the tour and certainly do the visitor center before to... More

Suggested to us by another friend, and so glad we took their advice. This experience was fantastic. Mike was knowledgeable & friendly. The information you get from this tour is so interesting it helps you get a real sense of the war. He gives you opportunities to look around, take photos, and ask questions . The guide drives your vehicle... More

Roy Frampton guided our 21 Alaska junior high students and 17 adult teachers and chaperones on a wonder tour of the Gettysburg battlefield. He was so engaging you could hear bombs going off and see men dying around you. He was absolutely fantastic!
