Well -organized, safe, and instructional. The people were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. This was our second time. We'll be back!

My wife and I took a few days to explore Gettysburg, and decided to try something new, a horseback tour of the battlefield. Neither of us have ridden since we were kids (i.e. 40 years ago or so), so we were a bit nervous. Pam and her staff made our tour effortless, and save a little soreness we had a... More

A group of 5 of us, went to Gettysburg to ride the Battlefield on Horseback, a bucket list item for a few if us. We had an excellent experience, and paid extra for a licensed historical guide, as we as wanted some education on this trip. It was well worth the extra $10 to do this, as Jim was very... More

We had a terrific ride through the battlefields on handsome, calm, compliant horses. The trail was lovely despite the horrors that occurred there 163 years ago. We paid a few dollars extra to have a licensed guide provide a narrative as we rode through the fields. The guide was essential to our enjoyment and understanding of the events that occurred.... Really enjoyed our horseback guided tour of the battlefield. Guide was very knowledgeable. The horse we had were fine. It was a little hot that day but other than that it was worth it.

Pam and her crew of guides and horses were amazing! First off, she agreed to take me, my sister and my 7 year old son out on their day off! Hesitantly, we did the audio tour versus an actual guide. However, the audio was great, professionally recorded in a studio. When there were breaks in the audio, Pam would share... More

First, let me start off by saying the staff could not be more professional, courteous and informed. Now, let me say, animals are animals, and horses are animals and sometimes a little unpredictable. Out of the 4 of us, my 13 year old had a horse that was grumpy and having a bad day and scared him a bit. It... More

If you want to see Gettysburg from the perspective of the soldier, go see Pam and Hickory Hollow! She has the absolute best team of horses and helpers in Gettysburg and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I live locally, and my 14 year old niece was visiting. To entertain her, I decided to take her riding. This is my second... More

What made our trip awesome was definitely our Licensed Battlefield Guide Jim! He was fantastic and definitely made your imagination work while riding through the battlefield. Would not do this without a LBG. My moms first impression was not well at all. The wrangler came off very rude as she was inquiring about some last minute info we had learned... More
