Wasn't sure at first if we wanted to spend our day on a bus or do the sights by ourselves. Very glad we did the bus tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgable about the strategy used during the battle and really helped us understand what went on. We also got little stories that helped humanize a historical event that... The tour had a lot of info. However, the guide and driver were not on the same page in the beginning. The guide thought the driver was going to go straight, but he made a turn and then the guide told him he thought he was going to go straight and the driver tried to turn back straight, but realized... The best thing about this tour is the licensed guide that accompanies the bus. He was a wealth of information. The bus follows roughly, the chronological route of the three day battle so it makes it easy to understand how things occurred. The double decker bus is fun but depends on the weather for comfort. It is not climate controlled.... More

Very informative and interesting, guide (Paul) was knowledgeable and a pleasure to listen to. Wish the tour would have been much longer just to hear his explanation of the battle.

The tour is an excellent way to see the Battlefield. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot from him. The tour is 2 hours and well worth the $30.

This tour is comprehensive with accredited tour guides who know their 'stuff'. It lasts about two hours and gives you a terrific overview of the entire town and how the battles affected the town and vica versa. We thought it was the best way to start the visit to Gettysburg and then go to the other attractions that zeroed in... More

This the only way to really see and enjoy the battlefield. Well worth the price of the tour. Our guide was very well versed in the history of the battle and made the tour very informative.

We bought the value plan which included the double decker bus tour and tix to several nearby attractions Well worth the money! The tour was excellent. The guide was very good at pointing out things and explaining the three day battle. The other tickets we used to see the diorama, Seminary Ridge and the Heritage Center. Excellent.

Very informative. There was a live narrator but we all had earphones to hear. About 2hrs in length. Very sobering.

A nice way to start the your exploration of the battlefield. The bus we had was rather threadbare but serviceable. The licensed guide was outstanding. TIP: If you can get on the double decker, sit on the the left hand side...much better views.
