Segway tours of the Gettysburg battlefield. Experience the history and enjoy the ride! The Segway Personal Transporter(tm) is environmentally-friendly, self-balancing, extremely easy to operate, and lots of fun! You'll be an expert after 10 minutes of free training. We don't just visit the battlefield sites. All tours are directed by a Licensed Battlefield Guide (recorded or in person) who will dramatically recount the events of the battle, the military blunders, and the heroic defenses that characterize this pivotal battle. If you aren't interested in the history, we also offer escorted Segway rides. Or try our indoor Segway obstacle course!

Have to admit I was more than a little nervous, but the training before the tour left me more than prepared. We took the live guided tour, and Rick was informative (and funny!). Jessie our SegTours rep kept us safe! This is a great tour to get a good overview of the three day battle.

My dad, sister and I fully enjoyed our time spent in Gettysburg thanks to this tour. Without any segway experience, we were delighted with the training provided prior to the tour itself. We did the most popular audio tour (the western battlefield). Bob was great in providing insight along the way. Despite the rain, we were able to appreciate the... More

We were thinking of getting the Audio tour from the welcome center and walking or driving to the monuments. With the hot humid weather PA was having walking was not a enjoyable way to explore the area and driving wouldn't allow us to get to areas off the main paths. This seaway tour gave us the freedom of walking and... More

Took the Segway tour of the Gettysburg battlefield, and I can't imagine a better way to see it and learn about those 3 days in July 1863. Our guide, Les, did a terrific job. He truly has a PhD in Gettysburg and a sense of humor too. He loves his works and it shows. I thought I knew a lot... More

Great time to tour , cool and no traffic. Training was complete and we all felt competent. Guide and assistant were very knowledgable ,friendly, and helpful. Spent the best 4 hours I have spent in a long time . Lots of fun for someone 70 years young !!!

Very nice ride, definitely an experience, the kids enjoyed it more. We were offered the ride but a tour was not available. That was perfectly fine, but it was definitely overpriced for just a ride. My teenage boys definitely enjoyed it.

I would definitely recommend Segway Tours with one of the historical guides. Segway Tours made sure we were safely riding the Segway, and our guide explained the battle and what occurred on each part of the battlefield. And riding the Segway was definitely enjoyable!

My Granddaughter came to visit and we decided to take a trip to see Gettysburg National Park. My wife (bad knees) was a bit leery, and I was a bet skeptical as well. The training and video helped us relax and gain confidence. Then the actual tour - Fantastic! I had been to Gettysburg a few times, doing the guided... More

Our group of 4 had never been on seaways before. We recevied very thorough training in the facility before we left, they made sure we all were comfortable on the seaways. Erin led our group and she was very safety conscious and did a great job. We had Michael as our battlefield guide and he really made the tour interesting.... More

We got together with my wife's family to do a tour of the battlefield. We choose to do it with the assistance of the segway tour company in Gettysburg. This company is topnotch with an informative video on the proper operation and safety of the operation of the segway which is mandatory viewing prior to getting on the segway for... More
