Having seen a segment on a tv show, this was on our to-do list for Gettysburg. Our guide brought us to the fence outside the national cemetery and told us about the cemetery, encouraging us to take photos. We spent a lot of time in parking lots. We finally got inside a room in the orphanage and listened to him... More

We were expecting so much more. We sat in front of subway for 20 minutes, seemed like forever, lustwning to an unenthusiastic tour guide. He told us the woman who ran the orphanage was mean, very mean. I learned more watching the history channel. Our group was dressed for an outside tour NOT, after standing outside we walked to the... This was my first tour in Gettysburg and I was glad I went! It was a good tour for the money. The tour guide was nice and knowledgeable. She was dressed normally and told stories of the area instead of talking like a character. It was kind of unorganized at first (where we met) but organized quickly. There were a... More

My spouse and I recently visited Gettysburg again and we were told that this particular tour was one of the better tours for the money spent.I will say, it was much cheaper than moat all the other ghost tours being offered right now. We did have a good guide and she was/is very knowledgable about not only the orphanage but... More

Skip the orphanage tour. We were there Sept. 23rd at 8:30. The basement is some mock setting and then walked in a parking lot to look through some trees. The guide kept repeating, "with that being said". Some young teenage girls in the group enjoyed it but we were falling asleep. I think the stories and facts are there but... More

It was hokey and lame at best. The guy giving the tour wasn't even mildly amusing. We spent half our time walking from parking lot to parking lot and told multiple times every building is haunted. Some of the historical facts were interesting but that's about it.

Our guide was a good weaver of tails. I especially loved the visit to the basement of the orphanage as we experienced a presence. A chain started swinging with no air in the room and a toy dog that would be triggered by touch started to buzz. My family and I also heard a tinkling of chimes in the corner... More

Of course the tragedy behind the history this tour is based on, will forever remain horrific and sadistic, our tour guide, whose nickname was R.E.D., did a fantastic job of relaying the history whilst adding the paranormal tidbits. I don't feel she overdid or tried to oversell the paranormal experiences, but genuinely told everything front her honest heart. I learned... More

The orphanage tour was pathetic. It was supposed to be 90 minutes and we were done in under an hour. Don't waste your time or money
