The “Ghosts of Gettysburg Tours” are best described as a combination of history and mystery. The battle that took place in Gettysburg was horrific. We do our best to treat the men who gave their lives with the respect they deserve. We use ghost stories, as relayed to Mr. Nesbitt by those who have experienced them, to explore what happened here. Anyone can make up a scary ghost story, but somehow, knowing that people experienced the ghostly happenings that our guides describe, has to make one wonder if an encounter is in your own future! Our tours include as much of the town as can be walked comfortably. The buildings in Gettysburg are all privately owned, but from what we've been told, just as many ghosts are wandering the streets as are hanging out within four walls! If you're looking for a "halloween haunted house" kind of experience, this is not the tour for you!

I was lucky enough to participate in the Baltimore street tour on Tuesday (August 23, 2016). Like the other ghost tours I did in Gettysburg, I found the history of this tour to be quite interesting. I am a big fan of history and I learned interesting facts about the battle of Gettysburg and the town itself. I don't believe... More

I am the skeptic and my friend has an open mind. So we went on the candlelight Ghost of Gettysburg tour. Our guide Anne has been doing this over 20 years and has lots of fun and interesting stories. We didn't have any contact but that doesn't mean it isn't out there!

I went on a ghost tour with Annie as our "tour guide". WOW was she good!!! I was very impressed with her story telling gift. She gave us a lot of interesting history of the battle and the town at that period of time. Was very fascinated with the history and stories she told. Many others were impressed also as... More

I had taken the Carlisle Street tour before, but my 10 year old grandchildren had not. Our guide was Sandy, and she did a superb job. I learned many things that I did not already know, since the guides are not held to a set script. My grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed it, also, and were still talking about it days later.... More

I really researched ghost tours here on tripadvisor before we left - there are so many! I chose this company because the owner seemed the most research oriented. I was not disappointed. Our guide, Larry, provided many stories, great historical background, ideas of how ghosts interact and some of his own ghost hunting evidence. We booked for the last tour... More

We took the Carlisle St tour which takes you from the tour headquarters on Baltimore St. up to Gettysburg College, walks around campus, and ends up in the main square. It cost $11 per person, which I thought was reasonable even though we were a bit disappointed in the tour overall. It is quite a bit of walking, so wear... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review and for providing specific feedback about your experience. Often reviews are so generic that I can't tell if it was one of our tours or one of the other 12 ghost tour companies in town, and I don't know where we need to make changes! Every guide can have an... More

Pretty much a waste of time and money. Way way over priced to have a group of 12 people with one guy telling overly long stories.

Thank you, Steve. On a beautiful night in August we toured the college. Steve was very entertaining with all his story's and interesting facts about Gettysburg and the area. We learned things about the war that we wouldn't have gotten anywhere else. It's a nice way to spend a few hours in the evening.

I was hesitant to go on the tour July 29, 2016 but I am completely satisfied. I read the first book before the tour. Ray was an excellent story teller and he shared his paranormal experiences. He definitely kept our attention. At the end of the tour we were allowed to take pictures at the former school. He said there... More

We did the 9pm Gettysburg college tour, it was very nice but maybe just a little to long, seemed like most of the people where getting tired within 30 minutes. This would be a great bus tour where the bus drops you off at the college and then you walk back to the store. We always love the tours, staff... More
