I have been visiting the zoo since a child, and my parents also visited throughout their childhoods as well. We have seen many changes to the zoo, especially the last ten years or so. Today, we saw the sea lion feeding which was lots of fun watching the keepers dance with the sea lions. The constant construction is a bit... More

This is a smaller local zoo that has undergone a lot of expansion in the last few years and we think it's just terrific. Located in the South Mountain Reservation it's a great size, easily done in a few hours and the new additions are wonderful. They have lots of cats (jaguar, bob cat, etc), bears, buffalo, a gorgeous bald... More

Went there beginning of July w my daughter and grandsons. So many wonderful exhibits to see! This zoo is maintained extremely well. There is e a new giraffe exhibit and soon will have a lion exhibit in 2017. We were able to see the black bears and the wolves were very lively. We were there around their feeding time. The... More

Unbelievable experience. Much more extensive than I had imagined. Initially want4ed to see the new giraffe exhibit, but the giraffe was 'off' for the day. They could have put a notice before you bought the ticket. There still was enough to see., Requires some uphill walking

This zoo has been improving every year. I have been a regular attendee during the past 25 years and my fondness for it grows stronger. Even though the kids are all grown up, I still visit it on a monthly basis. It is a great place to take a leisurely walk and the animals have become dear friends.

If you have children under the age of 8, by all means, divert your GPS to West Orange , NJ! This gem of a zoo is perfect for younger children. A fabulous new playground, carousel , touch tank , butterfly garden and much more including a charming train ride and giraffes are all within walking distance in this very doable... More

I am a Member at the Lehigh Valley zoo which is a reciprocating zoo. My Husband had business in the area and his friend suggested that we check it out. Online it looked like it would be a small zoo. I was surprised at the size and the amount of animals that they had on exhibit. It was a very... More

We love the Turtle Back Zoo! The park and facilities are in the great shape, the animals seem to be well taken care of and we always have a good time visiting the zoo. It is open until 8:30pm Wednesdays and Thursdays during the summer so it makes for a perfect stroll when the crowds are low.

Thank Andrea L
