Probably not the comprehensive tour that many would prefer but certainly enough to get the sense of what his life was like. I believe when you are in the surroundings in which one lived it's possible to feel their presence

Taking a tour of the Thomas Edison Site in West Orange is very interesting and a step back in time to another era of inventorship. When you tour the lab on the main street, its a step back in time before computers came into play....More

An amazing and very interesting place to visit. So much to see and do. The guides and volunteers are very informative and friendly. The house and nearby factory are like a step back in time.

If you have any interest in invention, design and history then you should make the time to visit the TENHP! The park rangers are top notch and if you have the time take the tour of his home!

Thomas Edison Park is a quietly hidden gem of Middlesex County. There are so many things to see that just when you are ready to go home you spot something new. Have a great time.

I am a huge fan of Edison and Tesla. These men's lives are inspiring. Edison's laboratories are nearby New York City. All History buffs owe it to themselves to visit Edison Labs.

If you like history and science, this is a great place to visit. Edison's office was left the way it was when he died. Labratories and exhibits demonstrate Edison's genius. His house is also a fantastic visit.

I understand there is a limited number of tix for the tour at 10:00 a.m. and it is the only tour of the day. I would be coming from NYC with a small group and wonder if tix can be reserved if this is the case?

Since it is not crowded, I guess they could easily take care of your luggage.
