This is an experience like no other! It is rare to experience a James Turrell installation in such a small and intimate venue. It is spiritual and very relaxing. Not recommended for smaller kids but I think a great experience for anyone over the age...More

Attended a sunrise Skyspace viewing and although it was overcast, the experience was nothing short of magical. This is a must see! When the Skyspace is open, you almost forget that your gazing at the sky until a bird flies by or a leaf floats...More

Bring a pillow to support your neck or a yoga mat for the floor. No other experience in Philly like it.

We visited Skyspace not quite knowing what to expect. What we found was a quiet beautiful location to meditate with others and I came to appreciate further God's general revelation - how much bigger and more creative and special He is.

We read others' reviews and still really didn't know what to expect. We attended the sunset session on Easter. They gave a brief explanation of the artist and his illumination art and then they rolled back the retractable roof to open a square window to...More

Beautiful, relaxing, thought-provoking, evocative, and a little chilly. It was a wonderful Valentine's Day experience to share. Photos and phones are not allowed, although as Friends the monitors are very unobtrusive, so please respect other this rule. Well worth turning off for an hour.
