Always love this place. My office is 2 blocks from the area. During Christmas, this place becomes something else altogether. It becomes a hub of the Christmas village. Shops with souvenirs, various food and drink ( including crêpe, mulled wine or glowine, bratwurst, doner kebabs). Of course, the true essence still lies in the 'i love philly' structures. Diagonally opposite to this is the dillworth park - another attraction during Christmas time with light show on the City Hall and a skating rink for all ages to enjoy.

We went specifically for the Love sculpture. We got there about 2pm and were able to walk from Reading Terminal Market. We lucked out and there wasn't anyone else really by the sculpture so we had time to take a good amount of pictures/selfies. On the other end of the park was a water fountain area where kids were playing (it's meant to walk around in and get soaked). There is also an I heart Philly sign which is great for photos. Can get the fountain and City Hall in the background. Would recommend.

Although there isn't much there except the Love sculpture and the water features, it is at the center of so many things in Philadelphia. Open until 10pm, recommend going at night. Less crowds and the lights in the fountain and the city are wonderful.

This park itself is nice but the nice thing about it is its location. Its close to the city hall and if the weather is nice, you get to have a long shot to take a picture through the Logan Square fountain all the way to the museum of art. The long shot will be beautiful, guaranteed.

Location of the LOVE sign you can take pictures in front of. Parking is horrible street parking is limited; they have a parking garage cost us $20 for the 20 minutes we were there. Line for you to take your own pictures went quickly and everyone was very respectful. It's a small park with tables and a water display, there were no bathrooms that we could find.

A very small sculpture, but stands as an icon of Philly. It’s located downtown with parking available under the park. The parking is pretty expensive but the street parking is very limited. If you’re in the area it’s one to mark off the must-see.

We walked through LOVE Park on our way from our hotel to the Rocky Steps. It is a nice, clean little park in the middle of downtown Philly. There were kids playing in the fountains and parents and young couples milling about. Several cute statues are spread throughout the city block-square park. Definitely a great place to take a break when walking around!

The public park was built in 1965 and covered an underground parking garage, it was dedicated in 1967 and officially named as John F. Kennedy Plaza after President John F. Kennedy. It is nick-named Love Park for its reproduction of Robert Indiana's 1970 sculpture being placed in the over-looking plaza in 1976 as part of the United States Bicentennial celebration. One of the features of the plaza became a centrally-located single spout fountain added in 1969. The area has a relaxed vibe and is also popular with skate boarders.

We walked from the Museum of Art down Benjamin Franklin Pkwy to the centre and passed through here on the way. Only a small park which was snowy when we visited. It had a fountain although this was turned off due to the cold and there were lots of seats and tables out which would be nice in the summer. The Love sign is not massive but it was quiet when we visited so we got some photos with no one else in them which was good.

Came to Philadelphia last weekend and fell in love with the city and especially this spot. Love Park has a great chilled atmosphere with kids jumping around. Love sign is a must when you visit the city. Like it very much

Has the LOVE statue been repaired and reinstalled yet ? If not, any idea when it will be back? Been wanting to go visit and possibly for Valentines Day weekend if it’s back!
