While this university is an important educational institution and a good place to study, the campus is not all that attractive to the tourist. Lots of new buildings during the urban renewal period. They are modern and lack charm.

Our extended family has had a few graduates from Drexel and all received an excellent education. The Cooperative Education program is top notch and has helped tremendously for students to gain valuable work experience while still in school. You are in the middle of the...More

I went with my son, he didn't like it at all (I believe he didn't like the urban setting, he didn't like the air he said, the ground, the sun). I think the main building is beautiful. You have to make an appointment well in...More

It's not U Penn, but the campus is active and some of the architecture is worth a visit. Students are generally welcoming and bright. The University City area is surely worth a long visit with so many great restaurants, shops and bars.

Drexel University, along with U of Penn, is located in the 'University City' segment of Philadelphia, which is located just across the river (west) of Center City. Many new facelifts are coming to the university while some of the original architecture is being preserved. The...More

If you are going to be visiting the area seeing the university, they have a parking garage that on those scheduled event days is free to the prospective students who have registered for the event. Otherwise there is some... More
