Armond has and endless amount of knowledge about the principles of photography. I went on a private tour with him (highly recommend) around the Cedars Cafe where we began discussing the basics of the camera. As we ventured onto the trails, I was able to apply the knowledge all while having him provide great feedback and how to navigate my camera in various situations. We had a great time talking about photography, art, and family. He is e gentleman very down to earth person. It was truly a pleasure working with him and I look forward to another lesson in the future!

Armond took the time to understand our level of photography and then adjusted his program to meet our expectations. He was kind, patient and very knowledgeable. He also had great stories of the city - overall it was a great experience and we look forward to doing another tour with him soon.

Had a great time with Armond on this tour. There were three of us with differing photo experience and skills - two of us never did night photography before. Armond was great in balancing his time assisting us navigate our cameras in an unknown setting. And frankly he was a lot of fun. Will most definitely do one of his tours again.

Armond was great. Did a private tour and his knowledge of Philadelphia, photography, great spots for photos were all fantastic. He pointed out some photography tips that will prove helpful in the future. Armond is very patient and kind. I requested that my fiance come along just as an observer and he was ok with that. He not only gave good tips but also was open to questions. I would highly recommend a photography tour with him.

Took both the Historic Philly and Rittenhouse Square tours on separate days. Both tours were fantastic. Armond showed up without a camera. This told me right off that these tours were going to be about me getting his undivided attention, good instruction and lots of opportunities for great shots. With his thorough knowledge of the city, he has a well planned route that provides loads of interesting subjects. He gave lots of good pointers on composition and how to take different views of subjects. Helped me become more aware of shapes and lines and how to use them. These tours gave me a good feel for the Historic area so I was able to return on my own and continue to shoot. Armond has a warm personality that sets a great tone, is an excellent photographer so he's able to critique on the fly, and worked very hard to ensure I was getting the maximum enjoyment and learning from his tour. When we return for another conference in Philly, I'll be seeing Armond again.

My wife booked a tour with Armond for Valentine's Day which was a great present. Armond met us by boat house row and discussed what we wanted to cover and what my knowledge level was like.
He politely introduced me to some features on my camera that I had been ignoring and we talked about composition and perspective.
I got some great pictures of Philadelphia but we also had a really nice time discussing photography and the city.
Well worth the time if you are interested in getting more out of your camera, taking some memorable pictures and spending a few productive hours in the city.

I was in Philly for a work conference and as I stayed over a weekend I took the opportunity to sign up for a couple of photo tours with Armond. I really enjoyed the two tours I took with him. These were a dusk to dark Rittenhouse tour and a Historic area tour. He tailored them to my preferences, for example for long exposure city skylines for the dusk to dark tour. Armond is a true artist. I have done many photography workshops and tours and this was to me quite different in that Armond focussed on composition and perspective more than technology. This was the case because I know my way around my camera very well and Armond focussed on the areas that he felt he could add value to me personally. We had a great time talking about photography, Philadelphia and our common Italian heritage. He is a true gentleman and a very generous person. His knowledge of the areas he took me to was impressive. I look forward to spending more time with him the next time I am in Philly. Highly recommended.

One often finds artists who know so much about their craft but have difficulty communicating the elements of their skill to others. Not so with Armond: he is patient, empathetic, and always inclusive. I did two courses back to back. First, the Mastering your Camera's Controls and then Composition in the Field. Both were excellent. I want to come back and do an evening tour sometime. Highly recommended.

My friend and I recently took the Historic Philadelphia Tour with Armond. We had a great time. Armond is a very nice man with an artistic background and an excellent understanding of composition. He is low-key and offers advice in a supportive way starting with an attitude of "let's find something good" then talk about improving. Armond also quickly determined our ability levels and adjusted his tour and advice accordingly. During our tour, we visited a number of excellent locations and we spent as much time (or as little time) there as we liked. In addition, Armond has an excellent understanding of the history of Philadelphia - he provided historical tidbits while walking between locations. I would look forward to taking another of Armond's tours.

Enjoyed my walking photo tour of Philadelphia with Armando this past weekend. The afternoon was filled with thoughts on composition, looking at the details in scenes to ensure the best shot “in camera” and fun Philly facts. We wandered the streets around Ritttenhouse Square, Fitler Square, the Schuylkill river snapping pictures along the way and talking about different approaches to improve them. Armando shared his creative approach (use of symmetry, lines in the image to draw the viewers eyes, manipulating exposure to achieve saturation/desaturation, etc.), which was very helpful as I try to expand my own creative abilities. Enjoyed the tour, talk and tidbits shared.

Hi Mike,
Thank you for the positive feedback and I am happy that you benefited from the experience. I would be curios to see how much of what we discussed influences your photographs as you travel.
Warm Regards,
