About
The Big Red Pedicycle is a 15-passenger bike. This open air "tour bus" has seats lining both sides and a back bench for riders to sit on. Only instead of just sitting there, you pedal! Riders work together to casually pedal the Big Red Pedicycle around Philly and stop at historic sites during the day and popular pubs at night.

7 of us went on the cookies and cream tour for my sister's bachelortte party. We had a fun time! The music the guides played made the experience enjoyable. The tour started and ended on time. The guides were friendly and nice. They pointed out different historical things along the way and gave some interesting facts about the city as we traveled. For the cookies and cream tour on the website, it says that you will make 3 stops in addition to the starting and ending point being Big Ass Slices. One of the places is no longer in business, so there were only 2 stops. However, the guides changed the tour stops to accomodate our family's interests. Scoop Deville was delicious, and we were happy with that as the first stop, but instead of Insomnia Cookies, we went to Federal Donuts (when they found out our family were donut fans). We were really pleased that they made that change. They should update their website for that tour to remove the location that is no longer in busniess and should consider making Federal Donuts a permanent stop.

Our group of girlfriends had the best night out ever. We laughed & laughed some more. Our tour guides were fantastic & patient with us as we giggled and peddled through center city. We played music & sang our hearts out. We do quarterly birthday events & this was the best by far this year. Highly recommend ! We’re trying to put together another group before they close up shop!

Our hosts were great. And I was worried it would be too cold (I generally run cold), but after the first 2 drinks it wasn't bad! We played music and had a great time. I'd probably go when it's A LITTLE warmer next time, but it was definitely worth it.

We had a great time on the Big Red Pedal Tours Old City Bar Crawl. The tour guides were knowledgeable and fun! The tour was long enough to see some sights but not too long that it was exhausting.

We picked this trip for my daughter’s 21st birthday party. She had a bunch of friends along with my wife and I. We couldn’t have had a better time. Guides were great and we had so much fun. Would recommend to anyone.

My group really had an amazing time. The bike ride was fun and the music really made it feel like a moving party! Faith and Gabriel were amazing tour guides I would definitely ask for them again!

Although I had fun, because of the people that I was with. I was expecting a little bit more time to spend at the bars. Most of our time was spent on the bike itself getting to the first and second destination. It was kind of hard to hear the music that was being played through the Bluetooth speaker. I suggest maybe getting a better quality speaker so that the music can be heard over the loud bike itself. The seats on the bike are so uncomfortable.

We went for our friends birthday, it was raining but the show must go on. Energy was up and we had a ball. The speaker died on our way to the second stop but that didn’t stop us from having a great ride! Dom got it charged for the ride back to big slices, it was a great experience. For sure a workout was had and the only negative was the seats are uncomfortable but between pedaling for your life and singing/rapping your heart out the seats are the least of your concern.

Booked the Bar Crawl as a surprise for my friends 40th Birthday. We had Matt and Justin, aka Shoulders, as our tour guides - phenomenal! They were fun and entertaining. Only one small hiccup the speakers to connect to for music ran out of battery between stops and our phones weren’t loud enough to hear music on with city traffic. Maybe have a back up plan for the future if it were to occur, send an SOS to the office for them to run another set out. We made the best out of it and would def still recommend the tour to others!

Recommend providing ponchos since this tour is rain or shine. We ended up stopping at CVS and purchased trash bags. Also, due to rain, the black material on the seats dyed all of our pants / shorts black which are now permanently stained. Recommend covering the seats in bad weather or bring something to sit on to protect your clothes.

does it include the drinks at the bar, or do we have to pay for them?

Me and my co workers would like a night on a bar hop tour so how much per person and how long do you stay in each bar and do we need to make a reservation
Written May 4, 2018
It’s about $25-27 and it’s a 2 hr tour. Yes you would have to make reservations in advance and the bars was 20-30 minutes a piece
