After the guided tour, take your time and you will find lots of beautiful, historic sites. Our grandchildren were in awe of the old buildings and fixtures.

Walked around the grounds surrounding the building and love the atmosphere all around. The architectural design is beautiful.

We did not visit the main historic buildings on the Mall on this visit, having done so a year ago. However, we did stroll through the area on several occasions, rightly busy with tour groups. It is amazing to think of the events and signings...More

Liberty bell and Independence hall are a must to see. Get tickets from the visitor center for IH before going over and going through security.

It was a great experience to see the remnants of the original executive mansion, the liberty bell, and a fantastic view of Independence Hall and the Constitution Center all in one area. This must be number one on your list while visiting Philadelphia.

The independence mall area is a must visit on any trip to Philadelphia. The new visitior’s center also offers public restroom facilities. The new constitution center, independence hall and the liberty bell pavilion are all on the Indepence Mall.

This is not only lovely on its own, but it is made even more so by the surrounding modern trappings that surround it. Because we were ok with only looking at it from outside the glass room, we went closer to dusk when it was...More

An absolutely beautiful place to visit with many interesting historical sites. Be prepared for some long lines but it is worth the wait.

I would say 1.5-2 hours should be good. If you rush and try really hard you can finish it in 45 mins - 1 hour. If I were you I would skip Mutter Museum if I run short on time.
