it is good to go to the indepence visitors center to get tickets early for this attraction, is free to the public, is amazing and emotional to be in the place where the US constitution and independence were signed by great and brave men, that fought to make it the amazing nation that it is today,

A don't miss when you visit Philadelphia. The sites around the mall were the reason we visited Philly. We were not disappointed. Even in August at vacation time, the crowds were not terrible. We visited the Liberty Bell around 11 AM and avoided the lengthy lines that came later. Independence Hall has timed entries, and we ordered our tickets on... More

A nice place to get away from the crowds and relax under a tree. It is a grassy area that runs several blocks from the visitors center to Independence Hall.

I am originally from a historic town, and the opportunity to see the deep history of our great nation was such a blessing to me. The Liberty Bell included learning areas and a few very interesting videos to discover more about the bell and the history behind this important artifact.

Loved being here at this place...tried to imagine was it was like so many years ago. All the great accomplishments these people made so we can enjoy them today! A great honor and don't ever take it for granted.

Just being here gives you a feeling of pride in our country. IF you don't have time to take in all or some of the buildings you will still enjoy just being there.

My boys are eight years old and their only knowledge of American history and politics are George Washington and Donald Trump. I've been here ten years ago and wanted to show the kids this special place in history. I think this is the first place that comes to mind when talking about Philadelphia.

A must see historic site for anyone visiting Philly. The tours leave a lot to be desired but the rooms are set up nicely. They Park Service could do better to bring the history to life.

Nice big area with several attractions close by: Independence Hall, Liberty Bell and Visitor center all within walking distance from each other. Can take awesome pics from grassy areas. Other areas close by are Benjamin Franklin tomb, Mint, Betsy Ross house.
