A few minutes wait time while people took pictures. Worth the wait. You don't have to climb the steps for a picture.

If you like movies then this is a must-see. The statue is merely representational but visitors who love the Rocky movies should see this,

Rocky statue in front of the art museum- a must-do for Rocky fans, but if you’re not a fan you can skip it! Free parking around the back of the art museum is a bit of a walk, but a nice one. Visited on a...More

This statute was moved from place to place within the city years ago for lack of interest, and for some periods it was nowhere in Philadelphia. One day tourists began taking photos with by the statute and it became a thing. Now lines of people...More

Line wasn't long. We went on a Thursday. First time in Philly. I was so happy to get to see this. Had to walk a good bit to get to see it but it was worth it

Thankfully I got to see this early (930ish). Huge queue by midday. Just to see a nondescript statue ? Quite right that Philly makes the most of this. Worth having a photo taken but not that impressive.

For those of us brought up on the Rocky and now the Creed film franchises this is a must for a photo op The only thing that truly baffles me is how little Philadelphia promotes this place? It's a truly iconic place with countless tourists...More

Great for the memory books. We were told by our friends who live in Philadelphia that there would be a guy there by the statue posing as staff, offering to take pictures for tips, and there he was....feels like an accomplishment to run up and...More

Of course, I am a Rocky fan so I had to see the statue while in Philly. Although the statue is of a fictional character, it is such a positive symbol of victory. The crossing lights are on a different pattern so crossing the street...More
