Located right outside the Philadelphia art museum. A must stop for a photo with Rocky. Usually a line but it moves fast . Free.

My family and I visited the Rocky State in Philly a month ago, it was not disappointing at all. I like that they place the status off to the side so you can take Photos. There is a small line up but it moved quickly...More

If you grew up watching Rocky then this is worth the trip for you. Statue is ground level so you do not need to climb the museum's steps unless you want to and line wasn't long to take a picture.

We got our pictures taken on the stairs by some homeless man. The area was beautiful, the fountains were nice. Got a picture with the rocky statue. It was not too exciting, didn’t cost us anything.

This was definitely a highlight of my visit to Philly. This was a childhoods memory of mine as I loved the Rocky movies!

The statue is nice, it's a quick nod to Rocky. But the real attraction is the parcs and grounds of the art museum. I recommend planning a little more time for the surroundings after you take your picture

Whilst the statue is a justifiably well known, the famous landmark is really the steps and we watched several Rocky aficionados run up from the base ( we walked or would probably have fallen over ). The view from the top is stunning.

My 7 year old ran up the steps with my husband right behind him. They had a great time. I didn't take them on myself because it was raining.
