Great place to visit to 'run' up the steps and get pictures etc. Statue is tucked away, doesn't really look like Sly Stallone - could be anyone ! We got there around 0930 am hardly anyone waiting. By 1030 there was a large queue for...More

Ok so if you are a Rocky fanatic I guess this is a big deal. If you are in shape it is even better. However just walking up the steps was enough exercise for me to last my lifetime. If you have seen any current...More

Hollywood donated from the 3rd Rocky movie. The art gallery, recognizing it as a prop v art, after some moving around, stuck it at the bottom of the now famous stairs. The theme song can’t help but play in your head when you see it.

For Rocky fans a fun stop. Be careful who you give your phone to for a picture. There were some problems there. Run the steps but the art museum is first class or go to the back of the museum for a walk along the...More

Cool for a quick visit and some photo opportunities. Fun to see folks recreating parts of the movie for photos!

If you are a fan of the film franchise, this statue is a must. Otherwise it's not great art, it's just in a very prominent place.

Had fun seeing the statue as a quick visit. Be warned of people wanting to take your picture for you and wanting to be tipped.

Quick stop. But worth it. Wasn't as crowded as the steps next to it and worth the ten minutes. Just had to wait for a few people in front of us but then we got as many pictures as we wanted.

They moved it from the top of the stairs - bummer. But if you’re looking at the front of the museum, the statue sits at street level to your right, nestled in a park-like setting. The line usually moves quickly if you get there by...More

Had fun. There was a short line but moved quickly there was a lady there who told us she was homeless and would take family pictures for us for tips. She did a really good job and we had a lot of fun doing it

There's some parking behind the Philadelphia Museum of Art, but the Art museum is on a traffic circle and getting to the parking can be confusing if you're not familiar with the area. It's a stop in the Hop On Hop Off buses... More

Pay only in sweat and shortness of breath. Awesome view of the city. The statue is free too. But there's always a line. Parking is tough. There are meters along the parkway, and pay lots at the art museum and Franklin... More
