The Macy's Christmas light show is a must see for people of all ages. The light show goes back many years as well as the Wanamaker Organ that plays the music for the show. The building used to be the John Wanamaker building and then became Strawbridge's and this show was very popular and would attract people from all over.... More

Crowded and warm with our winter layers in, but a wonderful light show. We stood at the 3rd floor, and didn't wait in line for the Dickens Village, line was too long. Worth seeing.

This huge store is very convenient if you work in town. The structure is historical and amazing. The non-designer items are not the quality they once were. The prices are higher too. The good thing is there are always coupons. If you are visiting Philly you should definitely walk through. The MAC counter is convenient but always crowded. Pretty decent... More

Called Macy's early today 11/26/16 around 8am and asked for availability of a few pairs of boots. Paris the sales rep not only helped me get the pair of boots I wanted but did so with great patience and consideration. Thank you, Paris! You know what customer service is all about!

As a musician, and an organist, I have known of the Wannamaker Organ since I was a student. Housed in Macy's (originally Wannamaker's) it has been played almost every day since the early 1900's when it was first installed. Played at noon, and often in the evening, it's a great treat to all...not just organ buffs. As one of the... More

Worth a few minutes of your time. It is a gorgeous old building, inside and out. . There is a huge statue of an eagle that used to be a meeting place before the time of cell phones. Also hear the pipe organ. If you come at the holiday time there is a light show with an organ concert that... More

Despite the fact that the conditions of this department store is very poor- very out- dated and boring , this afternoon I have faced a very impolite behavior from two staffs. They are working in ground floor, woman bag's section- deliberately showed that customer didn't want to buy while i was discussing paying with another staff.

Was always a part of our holiday season living in Philadelphia. Can get very crowded but again that goes with the season. I think it's worth seeing.
