Yards running tour

Fun! Easy run through old city and river front. Stopped along the way to see and hear great info. Very friendly, knowledgeable guide. Ended with a terrific beer.

My wife and I were the only ones in the group so our amazing guide, Faye, customized our run. She asked what we already seen in the city and changed our run so we could see some different sights. Faye was very knowledgeable, funny, and laid back. We ended up running 6.5 miles instead of 4.5 because of the route... More

Our high school running club recently ran the Liberty Bell tour with Faye and her colleagues. What a fun morning. The pace was relaxed (though I believe you can set your own pace) over flat terrain. We stopped at many historic sights, including memorials, Elfreth's Alley, Christ Church and the Betsy Ross house. The teens loved it; they were able... More

No better way to learn about a city you are visiting then to run the streets. Faye was a great tour guide. My wife and I got to learn a few more things that are not in the tour books.

Great way to get to know hidden treasures of a city. I have lived in Philadelphia all of my life and was pleased to learn new facts about Philly. Rich, our tour guide, was excellent!

We did the 3 mile brewery tour and it was perfect. Like most tourists, you eat and drink your way around a city. The running tour is the perfect way to tour the city and not feel too guilty when you overindulge on your vacation! The pace was perfect as we were able to hear the guide and were also... More

We had a very good tour / run with Faye. She ran at our pace and was very knowledgeable, even with somebody that was from the area.

This was such a rejuvenating way to spend a Sunday morning! Our tour guide, Fay, did such a wonderful job! She made sure everyone had enough water and we all were comfortable with the speed. It was a small group, but I could see us wanting to be friends after the run. It was just wonderful and I can't say... More

It was a great way to get oriented to the city and learn some nice place to go running on my own. The tour guide, Faye, was great!

This was my first time doing a city running tour and it was a blast! We loved our tour guide, Rich - he was awesome. A little history, some running and what is better then ending at Yards Brewery? It was a fun way to learn new things about the city. I will definitely do another one soon!
