2 hour Philly Segway tour review

Our tour was led by Dee. My wife & I are 70 ish , so we had some trepidations about riding a Seqway for the 1st time. Dee trained us with the Segway before leaving the shop and watched for our safety throughout the 2 hour tour. He has a superior sense of how to manage a Segway group through the city streets, blocking traffic himself where necessary to provide safe passage for customers. With earbuds in our ears we were able to hear his directions clearly at all times. So, we felt safe always.
So, this was. a fantastic way to see the city, learn about different parts of the city, learn some history while being outside and having fun on the Segway.
This is a unique experience, well worth the money and we are planning our next tour already as we want to se the Philly murals!!

Mural Arts Tour...Very Informative

If you have been wondering or thinking about a Segway Tour...Do It! I was anxious (reference one of those pics of me..lol); excited and I couldn't wait to learn how to use this machine to explore some of the Mural Arts on the City! Our instructor/guide D was very patient and insightful guide as he explained the history of the Mural Arts program in Philadelphia!

Our tour started from Columbus Blvd and went through Northern Liberties and Chinatown! I was nervous to go in the streets in the beginning, but once I got my confidence I was enjoying the tour as well as the ease the we went through the neighborhoods!

The tour was great and I am now hooked on Segways..I will be exploring Segway Tours when I travel in other cities or countries!

Great job Philly Tour Hub!

Fantastic Experience

Our tour guide Sophia was absolutely wonderful; first time riding a Segway was very nervous - it was really as easy as riding a bike & she made us feel so safe riding throughout the city. What was also great is that we learned fun unusual things about the city we would have never learned otherwise. Definitely recommend and can't wait to tour again!

A Yummy Food Tour

If you like a variety of interesting and great food, this is the tour you must take in Philadelphia. At every location we visited, we were given a large portion of the food, drink or dessert to sample that included Italian food and desserts, Indonesian street food and Mexican tacos. Also, the owners of some of the shops took the time and talked about the history of their store or restaurant including how they prepared the food. Our tour guide Shelley was phenomenal. She gave us the background history and talked about the unique features of the market. She was knowledgeable, informative, and made sure everyone on the tour felt comfortable and got to sample everything.

I would highly recommend taking this Italian market food tour.

Thank you for this review and for recommending this tour to others! This food tour focuses on the cultural diversity of the Bella Vista neighborhood; an old Italian enclave that has seen increased recent immigration from all over the world. This has led to a blend of delicious restaurants and one-of-a-kind shops, all with amazing backstories. Plus, we have incredible guides like Shelley who love to share their passion and all that they know.

Enjoyable ride around the city

We booked this 1-hour tour to get to know a little bit of Philly in our short stay. The kids and the adults enjoyed the tour and the guidance from D. Even my brother in law who's been living in Philly for a little while got to learn more about the history and stories of the city. Definitely recommend it.

Awesome Segway tour around Philly

For a fun way to go around the city of Philadelphia. I highly recommend the 2 hour Segway tour. Our tour guide, Isabel, was extremely knowledgeable as she guided us thru the different neighborhoods starting from the Delaware River, through the historical district, winding through the city, along the Schuylkill River trail, past the museums and giving multiple photo opportunities. It was a definite highlight to our visit to Philadelphia.

Best outing ever!!!

This was our first time segueing and let me tell you, it won’t be the last. A family member recommended Philly Tour Hub and it was clear from the get go why they did. Our tour guide “D” along with the other staff members were so sweet and helpful the entire time. “D”, our tour guide, knew everyone on our trips name and did not forget them once. The tour itself was not just a tour but it was an adventure that “D” made so enjoyable. He made sure to address us each by name, and took pictures of us so we can enjoy the ride which he made sure to send us each one after the tour. D’s incredible personality kept us laughing and smiling the whole time as we rode throughout the historic streets of Philadelphia. D was a great tour guide and this place is top of the line incredible!!! Highly recommend!

Seeing a different side of Philly

We had a great time on the murals tour with Mike. The tour offered a unique opportunity to see many pieces of public art that you would usually miss if you were not looking for it. Mike also did a great job of weaving in fun facts and pieces of history about the city. It's clear that the tour is also ever changing as the art changes! I'd never ridden a Segway before and was a little nervous about it. I was grateful for Mike's patience and guidance throughout the trip as I got used to it. Would definitely recommend this tour to tourists as well as locals looking to see a different part of the city.

Phenomenal!

Late August I went with my partner to Philly for a birthday get away. My partner had never ridden a Segway before and I thought this would be a fun way to see the city from a new perspective and have a lot of fun doing it. Our fearless leader and guide Barry was OUTSTANDING! Not only a native to Philly, but had grown up participating and working in the Mural Arts Program. He gave the most thorough and fun tour and even shared his personal experiences, which made the whole thing feel like we were spending the day with an old friend. Barry was attentive to our travels and always ensured we were safe and having fun. I cannot recommend Barry and this Segway tour enough! But don't just take my word for it, check them out yourself!

Didn’t want it to end

We’ve been waiting to go on this tour for awhile. As soon as my daughter reached 102lbs we booked our tour and traveled 2hrs. Our tour guide Mike was great! He was informative, lively, fun, patient with the training and protective of the kids. The whole experience was great from our 1st step into the meeting place to the end of our tour, the whole staff was awesome, friendly and helpful. We would take the tour again.
