Just finished my first spirit of 76 ghost tour. Great experience! Our tour guide Travis was engaging and entertaining, you'll get lots of history intermingled with a spooky twist. I would highly recommend this tour!

My wife and I took the tour on a Saturday night with Travis our guide and eight other brave souls. I liked the tour so much that the next night I walked the route by myself to review the mixture of history and ghost stories learned the night before. The historic section of Philadelphia is the perfect backdrop for this,... More

It was a mile and a half walk that took about 75 minutes. We stopped at probably 15 different sites and the tour guide would tell a little ghost story about the site while giving history, background, and interesting facts about the area. Very interesting and fun! Not too scary though! (Which I was okay with)

Our family of four with a 9 year old and 11 year old really enjoyed our tour. Travis did a great job entertaining the kids. The tour took us places of the regular tourist path to some great locations we had missed during our visit earlier in the day. Saw grave yards, churches and some spooky streets. Ghost stories were... Took the tour with our family group ranging in ages from 12 to 74. Melissa, our guide took us to spots and gave us a bit of history on places that we had not seen, along with some we had, but with a different twist. Fun and knowledgeable, she kept us informed and injected some humor along the way. She... More

Sam was wonderful! We learned a lot of history that we may not have learned just walking around by ourselves. Wasn't too creepy for our child either. Great job!

Our tour guide was Sam. He was lots of fun to walk around town with. His stories were very interesting and intriguing. They weren't very spooky but it didn't matter because the tour and the walk was just wonderful. It was daylight when we started out and slowly grew dark which added to the suspense. We loved walking around the... More

My sister wanted to do something local and different for her bachelorette party. So we decided on the Spirits of '76 Ghost Tour. It was a group of about 14 of us for the bachelorette party, plus maybe 10 others in the tour. I booked through Expedia.com (although you can book directly through the tour's website). Expedia gave us up... More

We took this tour as an add-on to our more general historical tour. We were really glad we did. Tour guide Melissa was interesting and knowledgeable. We felt like we got tons of cool info, not just about ghosts and such, but about the buildings, churches, parks, and cemeteries we visited. Check it out.
