Chuck was amazing! He had a perfect pace, great story telling, and took extra time to make sure we got the full experience. We enjoyed so many stops and tastes along the streets of the Italian market and appreciated the outdoor art and quant alleys near South Street. Chuck made the city views just that much more special it was like having a friend in Philadelphia. He is the special sauce! A+++

Our guide Chuck was passionate and engaging, providing lot's of information, and food! It's clear from the first minute that he cares about Philly and its founding ideals. If you walked up and down 9th street yourself, you would be missing out on so many stories and 'inside' information - all from a (retired) University Professor! I highly recommend this tour!

Howard led us on a great tour. Lots of behind the scenes stories and history of this diverse market - one of the most fun and interesting I have ever toured. We tasted a variety of samples, were directed to clean restrooms and shared a lot of laughs - perfect for a group of seven ranging in age from 6 months to 63! The Zagar murals are amazing. Thank you Howard!

We had a great time with Howard touring the Italian Market. He had great insights on the art in the area, as well as the history of the various vendors. Would recommend this as a must-do tour while in Phillie. Masks were required only when entering a business.
