Our daughter took us here several years ago and we loved it! Anyone one with an extra hour to spare should make a point of visiting.

This place is awesome! The area surrounding the Gardens have similar murals of what is inside but you should definitely go inside.

Philadelphia Magic Gardens is very small, bit it's impressive. Depending on how much time you like to spend at artsy places, you can spend anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours here. My boyfriend and I were visiting Philly for the weekend and our Airbnb...More

Interesting place to walk through and see things through the artists perspective. Tickets sell out often so I would recc. purchasing tickets online ahead of time. There are scavenger hunts available as you enter for the kids. Even though it is a relatively small area...More

This was an unexpected and charming experience. If you like folk art, experimental art, murals, mosaics, Gaudi, etc.....this is a real treat. The place is relative small but the mosaic murals extend to several buildings on the block and it's truly a deeply visual experience....More

Really nice and cute. $20 to get in. I would save that and go when there's an event there. Sometimes Drink Philly has them. Open bar for only a little more than the cost of standard entry.

There is so much going on in this space - it's quite fascinating. My teens and I walked through it over and over and each of us saw something different each time we walked through it. The whole outdoor garden is only about 3000 SF...More

I didn't go into the exhibit as we didn't have tickets for the time we were there but we got to see lots of beautiful mosaics on the outside of the building. There were several walls in the alley and other buildings that were covered...More

Very interesting and non conventional art presentation made with assorted recycled materials (mostly tiles, glass, but others as well). Some depictions not suited for small children.

Overall I felt that Philadelphia was falling short for some reason, until I ventured out a little more and discovered the breathtaking art created by such a talented artist! The Magic Gardens are great because it's the cliche of turning trash into treasure and it...More

The Garden is on South Street and this section is loaded with many places of all types as far as eating goes. If you are looking for cheesesteaks then go to Jim's at South & 4th. Enjoy!!!

If you are taking the tour, you will be walking around the neighborhood to look at wall murals. The walk will take you near the Reading Terminal Market, where there are plenty of food options, and an area with tables.
