This $522 million convention center has 440,000 square feet of exhibit space. Its draw, however, is more than its function; elegant on the outside and, in the inside, marvelously adorned with works by 52 artists, a flying design of steel and...more

The convention center is very large with many meeting rooms. A great location for a large meeting. However, the convention center does not provide a good internal concessions stand. You must leave the convention center (quite a walk from an exhibit hall) for good food....More
The centre was awesome. Very busy during week days, not so much on weekends. Great variety of meals available. There was an Amish stall that sold amazing ribs just as you enter from the main door. Tootsies also had a great offering of dished paid...More

I have passed by the Pennsylvania Convention on Arch Street many times and understand that it is an excellent venue for trade shows, conferences and large gatherings (total of 92,900 sq ft). A recent article about the Center’s respectable collection of contemporary...More
Like this convention center because it is not too huge or overwhelming. Everything was easy to find and I didn’t have to walk miles to get through the venue. Easy to navigate. The info desk was helpful with my questions.
Came to the convention center for the Philadelphia Flower Show. I found the center to be easy to navigate, have ample space inside, and was modern and kept very nice. Plenty of public transportation nearby and ample parking. Conveniently located across from the famous Reading...More

I always use Septa's Regional Rail to go into the city since the cost of an Independence Pass is only $12 and it gives you access to all regional rail, subways, trollies (including Philly Phlash), and busses. It makes getting around Center City, Old City, and University City very easy. You would have to check Septa, but the train from Wilmington to Center City stops at Jefferson Station (formerly known as Market East) which is right below the Convention Center. You would take the escalators up to gain access into the Convention Center. Plus, Septa is selling discounted tickets for the Flower Show - you would pay $28 rather than $34. I use everything but the busses. It makes travel safe and affordable and you don't have to worry about parking!
I used the parking garage that was about 1-2 blocks away, but it does get crowded depending on the popularity of the event. I'm also told there's a pre-paid parking service available called "Panda Park" (I think) but I... More
