Manayunk is a fun place to spend an afternoon walking around. They have a number of trendy restaurants, some fun shopping and a bit of history too.

The canal walk is nice and the architecture of St John's Church is Wirth a visit. The town is hilly but Main Street is doable. It is lined with many boutiques, restaurants, cafes, and breweries. A young professional and artsy crowd

Great viewing of the amazing runners. Great time, exercise at Rowzone, breakfast at Winnie's and cheering runners on.

Manayunk is one of those neighborhoods that pride itself as a destination for the artsy, hip and the artisan. A former industrious 'hood now known for its "working class chic". A neighborhood with a "small town' feel in the big city. I love it.

Manayunk is a nice section of Philadelphia to dine and shop. The restaurants and shops sit on Main Street and several intersecting smaller streets, so you can easily spend a day or two exploring, shopping and dining. Throughout the year, there are a variety of...More

We went on a Wednesday afternoon and we found it to be boring... I was told that there are food trucks on Thursday ... so don't do what I did and do some research first!

Fantastic area full of charm, fine restaurants, brewery, places of interest & fine canal walks. There's great bars, the area stretches about a mile so great place to be on a social evening out .

I am sorry but I do not know enough about the other areas. I know about Manayuk as my son, who is 27, moved to that area back in August. I know that Manayuk has lots to offer for the young adults and that the area is very... More
