We came across this during our wander around Philadelphia. Lovely views of the bridge and river. 10 min walk from independence hall. I would recommend going if in the area.

At 4 pm on Monday afternoon, the place was dead. Everything was closed, the only thing you could get was a gatorade from a local guy who brought his own cooler and was selling it. No attractions, no food, nothing.

Its along the Delaware river and when we were there we saw ships coming though and Yachts. Make sure you bring your Camera and shoes or sandles. We took a ride on the ferry to the Jersey side and came back. We had a wonderful time. Can"t wait to go again.

It's always neat to walk along the river, especially if don't live near a river. There are huge ships to see, and several food trucks, plus that cool park with the hammocks . . . Plenty enough to do without needing yet another excuse to go. And you don't have to pay to walk along the river or go to... More

Great atmosphere. Plenty of seating & places to eat. Nice walk around the harbor, great park off to the side called Harbor Park. Paid parking, we paid $17 for the lot across the street. A small stroll to South Street.

Other cities have done an amazing job at revitalizing their waterfront areas. Somehow Philadelphia has given it a good ole college try, but it's just not the lively area that other east coast cities have. There's a hotel, some nice restaurants, food trucks, museums and a ferry to Camden. But the coolness and the hipness other cities have created just... More

This is really a great place to hang out in the evening. You can find something for everyone. Food, beer, ice-cream, hemlocks, boat rentals and more. We spent here more than 2 hours with 2 little kids and we had to drag them back home.

I just recently saw a concert at Penns Landing Festival Pier and it was a great place to see a concert. You can get very close to the entertainers. I would suggest Flip flops because a majority of the venue is sand. Be prepared for extremely long beer lines and expect to pay $11.50 for a 24oz can.

There is a nice place to go walking around here...looks like a stage too. There is a rink that is a skate rink in the summer and an ice rink in the winter. Nice to check out.
