Take a stroll through this historic park, which often has art displays, music and markets, depending on when you visit. Or, just sit on one of the benches and watch the world go by!

It was winter when we were there and everywhere was covered in snow. The lovely park is surrounded by high-rise residences, luxury apartments and office towers. Its very popular with residents walking their dogs and strolling in the park.

Great place to relax and get calm before heading back into the streets. Surrounded by historic buildings, even more than the Historic section by the Delaware River, you start to recognize the architecture fast. Also much cleaner and less crowded than north of Market Street

Very pretty part of the city. The weather was great and this was a terrific park to relax for an hour and enjoy the park and people watch. Very nice park surrounded by cool buildings, shops and pubs.

This wonderful green space is surrounded by some great restaurants and hotels. It's only a couple of blocks off Market St, the main drag. A great spot for a meal or just relaxing between sightseeing venues . Also only about 20 minutes walk from the Museum of Art , the Rodin Museum and the Barnes Foundation , all worth seeing.

Every part of this square is cool, besides the side that Parc is on, I hate that restaurant. We had a good weekend there, it was sunny and warm and there were a ton a people in the square. White people, black people, purple people all smiling and getting along. It was cool to see. Go here if you are... More

I always like to take a walk around Rittenhouse Square when I'm in Philly visiting my daughter. The park is well kept and a grat place to go people- and dog-watching.
